I eat here all the time...

Wouldn't seem like a normal week without stopping in and eating at least once. Breakfast is incredible and the Philly Cheesteak Sandwich is the BEST! All of the staff is like "family".
- Pros: Homey, Inexpensive, Awesome Food!

After reading glowing reviews online we decided to give jamms a visit. The service was quick and they actuallyhad divided smoking and non smoking. Although due to the size of jamms it didn't make much difference. The staff was very friendly. The food was good. The homemade bread was awesome clest thing to what my grandmother used to make I have ever eaten and she made the best bar none! So why only average rating? It was very noisy, children roaming aimlessly, as an asthmatic the smoke was enough to cuase me problems. Just as we were leaving I visited the ladies restroom...That was the biggest mistake and I am glad it was after we ate or we would have cancelled our order and left! Their was the biggest and ugliest insect on the floor~ it was not not very clean, on the way to the restroom near what looked like a storage area there was "debris" on the floor and what appeared to be another insect. One of the people who came out of the kitchen was less than hygenic looking.
So if you don't mind noisy, less than clean, and smokey the restaurant has good food, good service.
- Pros: good food
- Cons: atmosphere, hygiene
A good old-fashioned American diner, tucked away in a strip mall.

In Short
This quintessential coffee shop opens up to the morning smell of fried bacon and freshly brewed coffee wafting through the air. Regulars have come to expect the bottomless cups of coffee and huge three-egg omelets stuffed with everything from fresh veggies to sausages. Fluffy Belgian waffles are made from scratch, but pancakes are still the favorite with kids. The expanded lunch offerings adds burger and sandwiches as well.
I give it a "B"

Everything about this diner is just average. My sundried tomato and spinach omlette was topped with two unmelted bars of cream cheese, and my sweet potato hash browns tasted of bacon. The booths were crusty, overly large, and uncomfortable, and the coffee was acrid. the pot of bread was tasty, though.
Breakfast burritos

The breakfast burrito rocks! I'm so glad I'm the type of person that will try anything once, that's how I found JAMMS. The servers are friendly, you can tell they love what they do, and that makes a whole world of difference! TWO definite thumbs up!!
- Pros: inexpensive, awesome food, awesome food

If you haven't been to Jamm's... You're missing out. I frequent there for the omletes - the best - any breakfast you can think of - Jamm's has it and does it right. Get home made bread and a whole plate of different jamm's MMMM I'll see you often too. NOT TO MENTION the service is tops! Always friendly, laughing, smiling... these folks are happy to be there too. You don't find this often.
Enjoy!

An "almost primetime" cafe
by tommybeau at Citysearch
My wife and I read all "best breakfast" reviews, chose Jamm's... set in a strip mall, we got snappy service, but food was only "basic." She had a waffle (good but not great); me an omelette. Quality was not great... dry, not enough cheese to hold ham-asparagus-tomatoes-scallions together, hashbrowns too brown. Java was just OK. Jamm's is... decent, but (despite all the glowing reviews) not yet ready for primetime.
- Pros: service, quantity, cleanliness
- Cons: quality of food, no real pastries, unspectacular
