Carnitas Michoac?!n. Try it. Tender and tasty. Careful of the large green chili pepper they serve with it unless you like pain. Food came in a flash and the waitstaff was all over me throughout the meal. The hot bean dip they serve with the chips is fantastic. Go when you're hungry; you won't be disappointed
best in the west!!!

this is by far the best mexican food i have had!! i live in los angeles so believe me i eat a whole lot of mexican food, but the food here is so so so good i wouldnt mind the 4-5 hr drive to vegas just to eat here. the service was outstanding, i never had service like this, i mean they were on top of things and always had a smile on their faces, made me and my guest feel right at home. the prices are just right to! i wish this restaurant was in LA, but like i said i would not mind the drive, everytime i come to vegas i will definetly make a stop here!!
Best Mexican Food in Nevada

Its amazing how needy certain customers can be,when i go to a restaurant i know before hand if i like the type of food they serve, and if i dont, i go with an open mind. Now Lindo's food is the best Mexican food in town and they have the best service as well, trust me, i have been in a lot of expensive overrated places in las Vegas and Lindo's and Flemmings are the top ones.So take your family, girlfriend, date, kids, whoever you want because you are gonna have the best food. If you like steak try the Tampiquena Steak, is my favorite dish there.Thank you for reading this, JP.
- Pros: The best Mexican food.
- Cons: none
Decent Mexican

The hype this place gets is almost legendary so it would be pretty hard to live up to that hype. That said, Lindo Michoacan nearly does live up to the hype! The menu features a large number of items not often found on most Mexican restaurant menus. Meat is done especially well here as are soups and stews. Margaritas were surprisingly small but potent enough. Chips and salsa were only average. The carne asada is the best you will find anywhere and it starts with the fact they use New York Steak, not sirloin or skirt steak which is what you will fiind at most Mexican restaurants. Prices are high but you do get what you pay for.
- Pros: Carne Asada; Soups and Stews
- Cons: Chips and Salsa
Seriously?

My thought that the general public enjoys bad food is clearly correct after having visited this dated, tacky joint. The Sunday brunch selection looks like re-heated leftovers from a fiesta a few nights back...but spruced up with a fresh addition of stale hot-pink Mexican bread.
The service is painfully bad with the General Managers picking up the slack for entitled waiter who doesn't care at all that the food he just served you is the worst Mexican food next to Taco Bell. He never re-visited our table and he let the bus-girls take care of us. No thank you's or any sort of basic waiter etiquette. If you are a bad server, apply at Lido, they will hire you.
I ordered the #4 combo: a bean tostada, beef taco, and cheese enchilada. The guacamole that is blobbed on the tostada is pre-made and the grate of the cheddar cheese is too thick and it tastes low quality. The beef taco is questionable on every level: freshness, moistness, flavor. It lacked all three. Plus it was deep fried and the menu boasts how it is "healthy" because the owner has health problems. The cheese enchilada was limp and the sauce tastes like the junk my white mother buys when she wants to make "ethnic" food. The beans are the only palatable item on the plate.
It's 12:45, I just went there for a Sunday brunch date with my husband, and I'm still hungry. I'm also annoyed at the Vegas valley for voting this place the Best Mexican Food. Wake up, people. Lido is exceptionally bad.
- Pros: Now I know never to go back
- Cons: Price, service, decor, food...
food not suitable for humans
by ellebeck
my husband and i went over there a few weeks ago.the waiter super snooty. my husband ordered the enchiladas and i ordered fish tacos. the enchiladas were passable, but the fish tacos were not suitable for human consumption. i took a bite and immediately felt repulsed by it. i opened it and look at it and look like something you would not feed to even a dog. i called the waiter and politely told him i didnt like it. he shrugged his shoulders and just took away the plate. nothing else. we left that joint right away. a tourist trap
- Pros: ambience ok
- Cons: food very bad. waiter very rude and not helpful
Very Good Food!!!!! Not So Great Service : ( .....

First have been in this town15 years and by far, this the best mexican restaurant in Las Vegas. The chips and salsa are the best appetizers of course acommpanied by the side beans they give you before the main course. The only down side about this wonderfull restauraunt and great food , is theservice . The waiters are rude and inpatient. Everyone in my table ordered except for me off course because i really take into consideration what choose to eat. The waiter made me feel really uncornftable after telling him to give me some time to order my food off course he didnt he stood right behind me until i ordered. So not fair. One thing for sure you its not fair to rate them like this because their food is amazing but their service is not up to standards. Unfortunately. And when you have reallly bad service you expect really bad food but amazingly is not . I would Definetely reccomend this restauraunt. Waiters get your game on : )
- Pros: If you really want great mexican food , this is it!!!
- Cons: Service is not so good
Eat here if you have no no idea what Mexican food is

My boyfriend and I were quite unhappy with the "authentic" mexican food were ate at the West Tropicana location. Food was bland, bland, bland. The complimentary pile of perhaps canned bean dip, side of "burn your face off" salsa and unseasoned tortilla chips were free for a reason. As was the odd soup that tasted like a can of Campbell's noodle soup with tomatoes. My boy's order of Al Pastor tacos were very under seasoned and went unfinished. My chicken fajitas were only decent after unloading the salt shaker on it. This restaurant also promotes healthy eating and claims that olive oil is used instead of lard-- anyone on a diet knows better than to eat mexican food! Give us the lard! Don't recommend this location- the "Chef" does not know what authentic mexican food is.
- Pros: Prompt seating
- Cons: Bland food
Wonderful!

This place was recommened by the conceirge at Luxor and it was great! The salsa was really good and the queso was out of sight! By the time we got our food we were stuffed but it we still enjoyed everything! Wish we had this place back in Nashville, TN!
- Pros: Great food
- Cons: $20 cab far from Luxor
Best Everything!

This has been my favorite restaurant for years. I love the food. The service is always great. And you can't beat the price. It is family owned and it is apparant that they take pride in their business. Would reccomend Lindo Michoacan to anyone.
- Pros: Great Ambience
- Cons: Gets a little crowded
