I had my wedding on May 31st and was amazed at the wonderful choice I had made to have it at Sunset Gardens. From the beginning, everything was so easy and effortless. Tony recommended a package to fit what I was looking for and I took it right away. The day of my wedding, I realized that if I had chosen any other wedding site, things would never have been this perfect. The bridal room was gorgeous and gave plenty of space for getting ready with my bridal party. Sharon (our coordinator) stopped in several times to see if the room temp was ok and if anything was needed. She did a terrific job of making all of my loved ones feel comfortable and making sure my bridal party was prepared. It was not long after I was in my wedding dress when disaster number one began, I had somehow gotten a spot of red wine on my dress.... I thought of Sharon and asked my bridesmaid to get her. sure enough, she was wonderful and brought some white wine which amazingly took it right out. the ceremony was perfect, there are no other words to describe... just perfect. perfect music, lighting, decor... once the reception began, disaster number two began... I could not get my DVD to play for the "memory lane" I had worked so long and hard on making perfect.... in the end, my brother in law made a new one and only needed one thing, a blank CD. The reception was soon to end and Sharon had left a few mins before. I found out later from my maid of honor, she called Sharon and she actually turned around, came back and brought what we needed to make it happen. She was a true inspiration. countless wedding attendees have told me that I had the most beautiful and fun wedding they had ever been to. people at work are still talking about how good the food was. It brings joyful tears to my eyes as I remember my perfect day. Please do not be shyed away from false negative comments of this place, they are obviously from their struggling competitors. THANK YOU SUNSET GARDENS!!!

Pros: good food, good service, beautiful place, great price

Cons: none

We got married on June 7, 2008 in the chapel and then had our reception here. Sunset Gardens is phenomenal, simply put. This place is BEAUTIFUL! Sharon was our wedding coordinator and she's the most genuine, helpful person and truly cares about the success of your wedding day. The food is amazing, our cake was beautiful, the flowers were gorgeous, the DJ was fun, loved Reverand Jeff, and the decor was perfect. I have not one single complaint for Sunset Gardens and this is coming from an event planner myself that looks for things to be flawless! If I ever know anyone that gets married in Las Vegas, I will 100% recommend Sunset Gardens. Love, love, love this place!

Pros: The food, the DJ, the flowers, the people, bartender, the place

We came to Vegas to find a chapel, and was recommended to check out Sunset Gardens from a friend of a friend. We fell in love with it the moment we stopped by. We met with the charasmatic Tony and he explained all of their packages, and helped us find one suitable to our needs. We picked a date....6 weeks away. I was a mess before we even confirmed the date..worrying about how I was going to plan my dream wedding in this short of a time. If I knew then what I know now, I would have never spent any time worrying. EVERYTHING was taken care of. I barely had to lift a finger. Everyone called me.....from the flowers, cake, DJ, pastor, spa (for hair and make up), and food. All I had to do was look at the website or brouchure and pick what I wanted. They took care of the rest. As for my wedding day...it was all I could have hoped for. Chris was wonderful. He took the time to ease all of our nervous jitters and guide us through step by step the most important day of our lives. The ceremony and reception were perfect. I was impressed with how courteous ALL of the staff at Sunset Gardens were. The photographer and DJ (Syd) were wonderful as well. I couldn't have asked for anything more. The staff at Sunset Gardens were like good friends and family.

Pros: the wonderful staff

Cons: absolutely none

We just had our wedding reception at Sunset Gardens this past weekend and I just wanted to clear the air up and let everyone know how amazing everything turned out. First off, we were going to have the ceremony and reception there and do the big package, but decided to elope to Aruba for a ceremony on the beach and come back and throw a party for all our friends and family here. We dealt with Tony the entire time and he couldnt have been more helpful. We changed our plans about a million times and he was always there to give us new options. We had about 175 people attend the reception and it was perfect! My wedding colors were TIffany blue, black and white and everyone loved the decor. We had the garden room that was so spacious, it had its own patio and huge garden area right outside that was lit up beautifully that the guests loved because they werent so confined to one room. We had lots of kids attend the party and they were able to run around outside and not distract the rest of the party. There was so much food for our guest and everyone raved about the food. Tony even went out of his way to order chicken fingers for all the kids that were there. The cake turned out wonderful and Kathy made it a tiffany blue color that matched perfectly! The price wasn't that bad considering everything was included, decor, DJ, food, OPEN BAR, and so much more. All in all, although it was a bit stressful on our end, Sunset gardens did a great job and was soooo helpful and nice! I would recommend this place to everyone I know!

Pros: space, everything included

All in all it was OK but there were some problems with everything and I think you should know this before you decide to get married there as you don't get a second chance. We had the best package for the day wedding as night weddings were already booked. It cost 120 USD per head + flowers 1000USD + photos 500 USD + 400USD for table decorations. The planning: The so called wedding coordinator is not really a coordinator, she doesn't help out with anything but just shows you what you have to chose from. We chose an ivory setting with burgandy bows which I recommend as their other fabrics are washed out and dated. We chose to buy our own table decorations as theirs are really tacky and cheap looking. The wedding coordinator was unable to pronounce my name and I did not appreciate this at all. We were never called or contacted, everything was left up to us. They handed us an email adress for the minister and a phone number for the DJ who never answered the phone. Note that everything they say is "included" is NOT such as the tux, the flowers, the photos etc. For the tux you have to order 4 to get one free, for the flowers you have to order 600 USD to get 200 USD off and for the photos if you want your 50 photos on CD that will cost you 250 USD. The WEDDING DAY! Music: We spent weeks looking for our music and the DJ messed up everything. The wedding march included. He put up funeral music during the seating and not what we requested. The DJ works on dated CDs and has no plug in for Ipods. Photographer: VERY BAD. His package costs an extra 500 dollars (which they don't tell you when you book) and the photos are worse than you can even imagine. Get your own, the photographer is really bad!!! Food: We paid for 50 people, we were 34 and there was not enough food for FIRST servings. When we pointed it out they said sorry but we don't have anymore... All in all we had a great wedding because it was ours but we would NOT reccomend if you have other options.

Pros: Easy to organize

Cons: Nice cake

Our wedding was okay but we did have some memorable moments. We planned our wedding short notice we were deciding if we should elope to Hawaii or have a wedding here where our family would be able to attend. When my husband saw the place he said it looks nice lets just have it here. We paid for everything in full and the big day comes the staff was nice but here's what I didn't like to much. The coordinator came in in regular clothes, the videographer made my wedding almost an hour late (not really his fault his car broke down), I felt sorry for the priest but he said the wrong name (now that's memorable) I'm not really sure if I should be mad or what with that one. The place was set up nicely, the food was good, the staff was nice enough, but it wasn't very coordinated. In our rehearsal he just gave us a five minute explanation and said not to worry about anything but the reception was such a mess. People didn't know if I was cutting my cake or having my first dance the DJ wasn't too interactive. I've been to weddings and the DJ makes a big difference he was a nice guy but I wished he would of hyped out the crowd. It was still a nice day but I think it could've been nicer especially for the amount of money we spent. When it's all said and done the most important thing is the symbol and meaning of marriage.

Pros: looks nice

Cons: unorganized

My fiancee and I recently got married at Sunset Gardens. We were blown away. The wedding was elegant, classy, and first-class. All our guests said it was one of the best they'd ever seen, and we agree. We got their "Elegant Evening" package, $99 a head got us a classy outdoor ceremony, a 1.5 hour cocktail party, live jazz band, a full reception with buffet dinner (3 entrees, 5 sides, salad, coffee), 6 hours of open bar with beer, wine, and premium liquors, DJ, cake, and more. And it all turned out great. THE GOOD: The facilities are beautiful, both indoor and outdoor (especially outdoor). The best is the lighted trees. The staff is incredible: Tony (owner) and Michelle (coordinator) are friendly and seem genuinely interested in making your wedding special. The rest of the staff was also very friendly and competent. The inclusiveness of the package: the DJ, priest, food, drink, were all provided. About all we had to get ourselves were a photographer and videogtrapher, flowers, and invitations (and they'll help you with all that). The food: GREAT! Seriously, the best prime rib I have ever had (and I've been to Lawry's). The Chef's Special Chicken, red skinned potatoes, salad, fruit trays, fettcine alfredo were all delicious. The price: At $99 a head you get a lot. May sound expensive but by today's standards it's a good price. THE BAD: Airplane noise. The property is located right under a busy flght path and can get noisy. We had 3 planes arrive during our ceremony. It's not that bad, most people barely noticed. But the potential is there for a giant 747 to come along right when you're about to say, "I do." Also, when we made the reservation we negotiated our way down to $95 a head from their usual $99 price, but months later when it came time to pay they denied having made such an deal and charged us the full $99. But in the end we were extremely satisfied and our wedding turned out to totally exceed our expectations.

Pros: Ambience, elegance, value for money

Cons: Airplane noise
