Yea she's a crowded packed house whenever I have been in there and all the locals know why. It's the best bargain on good food 24/7. But thaats not the best thing going. I cant speak much of the payouts cept that the largest I have ever seen paid is here. Seriously counting for five minutes with security. This Karoke pro must not be a beer drinker. Too bad. Six taps brewed and chilled on site making this the best beer I have ever drank and I drink a LOT of beer. I would say it is the best in the land and only $1.00 for a 20oz glass now whats wrong with that??? Karoke boy must be expecting star search or something. Too bad he cant see why it is CROWDED. DRINK A BEER!!!!! drink ten. Seriousli I tried them all twice around and settled on the Pilsner for the next 4 and switched back to the light and it still was flavorfull. The Brewmaster Joe knows what he is doing. I cant wait to go back this month. BTY I walked out and got a cab back to the Mirage. So here's the deal. Get a Shrimp cocktail appitizer. Order a light beer and get in line for the Rib dinner. 5 course fallin off the plate for what I think &10.00. Ha! If you cant eat it all just order the steak special. $4.95. Drink More beer. Ask for a tour of the brewery. It is the cleanest micro brewery I have ever seen. So find Paris casino and directly behind it is a Grain Silo in this unimpressive buliding. Go inside and enjoy. Karoke...LOL Well,,,, some people paint. JOE brews beer. Life is short. Learn what beer should be.
Pros: Great kitchen and fantastic microbrew beer
Cons: Too many locals are drinking all the beer up

All of the reviews I've seen here are about the food specials, well I would like to address the karaoke, since everything I've read and heard says this place is the best karaoke in Vegas. I live in Reno and when I decided to visit Las Vegas, everyone told me that Ellis Island was the best place to go for karaoke. I made it a top priority to visit there. I was disappointed from the moment I walked in. To start with hey didn't have Smirnoff Ice in the bar, which is mostly what I drink when I go to a bar. The karaoke selection and sound system were below average, as were most of the singers, and the wait to sing was way too long. There also didn't seem to be very good security in the bar to keep the scumbags away from the ladies. I did not feel very safe in this bar. If this was the best karaoke Vegas has to offer - I'm glad I live in Reno where we have a great karaoke bar!
Pros: I can't think of any
Cons: overall bad experience

Since I am single and don't want to spend 10.00 for a raw steak bought at the local overpriced grocery stores here in LV and then have to cook it and clean up the mess. When I crave a steak dinner at a great price I go to the Ellis Island Casino. I do not know what cut of meat it is that they serve on this special but it is a thick fillet cut looking piece of steak (although not really fillet mignon) and has always been juicy and flavorful everytime. Comes with Baked potato, Fresh sauteeed String beans, Salad For around 9.00 w/ soft drink and tip (yes. don't be cheap and not tip). Service is good but quite busy on some nights and may be a waiting list.
Pros: STEAK SPECIAL
Cons: I lost 100 bucks there

We make it a priority to come to Ellis Island a few times each trip because of the cheap drinks and food. We purchase a few American Casino Guides and each has coupons for 4 free drinks and 2/1 menu items. The best use for the 2/1 menu item coupon is either the $5.95 baby-back ribs with all the fixins. Large eaters can order the combo platter which adds a 1/2 BBQ chicken for only a $1 more. Lines tend to be long during prime time, but we put our name in and enjoy a free drink or two while we wait. Also note that a Metro Pizza outlet is located in Ellis and serves slices as well as full pizzas.
Pros: Inexpensive food and drink, good BBQ, availability of coupons
Cons: Smokey, no ambiance

Everyone should have the 4.95 steak dinner at the El;lis Island restaurant. Salad. rolls, potato, green beans, steak. Just make sure they cook it enough.

Even though this place is not on the beaten path and the atmosphere looks like a downtown old casino the food here in the restaurant and the BBQ with an outside patio is for the price the best I have had. For less than 6 bucks you can get half a chicken corn on the cob and a beer plus beans and great ribs! So don't let the looks fool you. Have the BBQ and plan on a wait, although it is really worth it.
Pros: Great food at cheap prices
Cons: location, parking and atmosphere

Located on Koval Lane which runs parallel to Las Vegas Blvd, the Ellis Island brewpub is literally located immediately upon walking into the casino. The brew works are visible from the casino floor. The bar area is near the entrance and contains 4 taps. The rest of the area looks like any other casino I have seen so it's not worth mentioning. The beers are all below average, and even with the low price tag ($1 each) it is hard to justify coming here for them again. The service was the one saving grace. The bartender was very pleasant and took time to discuss other area brewpubs and asked me which of the beers were my favorite. I didn't try any of the food. Overall I really like the idea of a brewpub/casino, as I am not much of a gambler.
Pros: Cheap beer/food
