terrible place

by febi92154

We went for my niece wedding dinner, service no bad but the food over price for the quality you get and the gentlemen Hosts at the door with a french accent it was very very rude to my wife and son.We will never go back to a place like this.

This long-time Strip restaurant coasts on its reputation and prime location.

by Contributor

In Short
This popular steak and seafood restaurant is smack dab on the Strip near the Venetian, Mirage and Treasure Island. Sightseers on foot and convention goers have kept this place hopping for many years. Live Maine lobster is the No. 1 selling dish. The Coeur de Filet fared is another popular choice, as is the sliced chateaubriand. Mushroom caps come glazed with a bernaise sauce, and braised squash and zucchini are crisp and fresh.

Worst Steak EVER!

by origirl

My husband and I went to the Rosewood Grille for our 5 year anniversary. We were seated promptly and our service was not bad, however my salad was no good (greens with a giant plop of bottled ranch plopped in the middle) and my steak tasted like a public school salisbury steak--nasty! When we finally finished our meal we were told it would be 45 minutes to an hour before a cab could come and pick us up. Thankfully the valet ran to the street and flagged one down for us or we would never have made it to our show on time.

  • Pros: Good Service
  • Cons: , Overpriced, Hard to get a taxi

Still great after the move

by robertmarshall

We've been going to the Rosewood for many years always having a wonderful experience. They sold the "location" responsible for thier success, per one of your contributors, who's comments prompted me to write. Not only is the service still great but for three years in row we've had the same server, nothing makes dinner more enjoyable than great food, great service, and our server remembering us. Rosewood may not be for eveyone but it is a wonderful place to dine and enjoy what Las Vegas once was. It is one of the best restuarants in the country. We will go everytime we're in Vegas and if Patrick is our server it will make our anniversary that much better. Family owned restuarants will always be our favorites, Rosewood's survival among the money in Las Vegas while still making you feel special can't be beat, even if the food wasn't great.

  • Pros: Service, food, location
  • Cons: finding it, getting in

Lobsters

by garybyrnes

The Rosewood Grille and lobster house is one of the biggest shams for a restaurant I've come across in years. I've traveled the world and have eaten in many an upscale and elegant restaurant and this is not one. I spent $389. on our dinner of 3 for what was one terribly uncooked, tasteless 10 lb. lobster. The waiter said the size reflects the taste and to that I said maybe you shouldn't sell large tasteless lobsters. At $20-$35 per lb with a 3.5 minimum per lobster this place is not what you would expect for the money.

  • Pros: atmosphere
  • Cons: very expensive, unskilled chef, non alcoholic drinks
