A joyful Oasis
by SultanJoey
If you want a unique and relaxing dinning experience while in Las Vegas, please consider the Marrakech Restaurant. This authentic Moroccan eatery offers excellent cuisine and hospitality in an informal atmosphere.
The menu is abundant but simple. It consists of a six-course, traditional meal which begins with delicious bread, moves on with soup and kabobs before ending with a yummy desert. Before starting your meal, your server will invite you to rinse your hands with warm rose water ? a quaint Middle Eastern custom.
Another custom present at the Marrakech is one or more lovely belly dancers who perform throughout the evening and will, of course, visit your table. If a belly dancer asks you to join her, don?t be shy; you may discover a hidden talent.
Choices of where to eat in Vegas abound. Please do not miss the unique experience offered at the Marrakech.
- Pros: Almost everything
- Cons: I felt just a little rushed
Awesome experience!!!

The food was great, the staff extremely friendly and will definitely go there again! I cant stop telling my friends back here in Texas about this place! The Belly Dancers.....WOW! Andrea I think was her name. My goodness! We all fell in love with her! If you have never been to a Mororrocan restaurant, this is the one to go to. This will be one of our stops every time we go to Las Vegas. Thank you Ginger and Tim for taking us!

What a night out......GREAT place to start things out right!!!
by VegasStyle
What a place to start things out right!! We went on a Saturday night with 18 guys and it was a BLAST. The food served was fantastic and the belly dancers were even better. The service was right on the mark with the exception of feeling a little rushed. When we left there we couldn?t stuff another morsel into our stomachs, so come hungry? As for the drinks, we had been paying $15 a drink throughout the weekend so it was nice to a drink beer/drink for $4/$6?I highly recommend this place, no matter what size party, especially if you want to have a blast!!!!
- Pros: Belly Dancers and everything else!!
- Cons: No Cons.....Everything was GREAT!!!
Girls Night Out- incredible experience!
by jerseygirl32
I have on many occasions wanted to write this much deserving review on Marrakech. First I would like to say it was an honor to eat at this restaurant! I was a little sceptacle to pick this restaurant at first not knowing what to expect and knowing the ten ladies I had invited to join me were very particular. Walking into the place felt as if you were truly in a different country and it had such a wonderful atmosphere. Each and every course was absolutely scruptous- different from any restaurant that I have ever been to. The service was exceptional, the one owner was actually our server- how much more hands on can you get! The dancers were truly beautiful to watch as they encouraged us to dance, and dance we did! From the Jersey Girls to all of you that read this review, we have all been to many restuarants but his place is truly an experience and this will definitely be on my stop list when I come into Las Vegas again! To Sharief, and family, you were an absolute unexpected delight!!
- Pros: Incredible food, Incredible service, different experience
- Cons: None
Best Everything!

Okay - don't be put off by the location off-strip. I hear that a lot of good gems can be found off the strip anyway, and this was definitely a diamond in the rough! Hipbec is right, we DID stay for four hours!!! But we absolutely enjoyed ourselves and we really didn't want to leave. The belly dancers are beautiful AND talented, the owner (Hi, Dad!) is so sweet, and his son knows how to make some really good cocktails!!! I second the request for "The Shariefalicious" shots! And, the food was excellent! I loved eating with my hands. The soup was yummy! I loved the shrimp (not overcooked or chewy...just right! And the sauce it was in was to die for), the veggie platter was a nice and refreshing break, the cornish hen dish was so awesome...practically falling off the bone...and it tasted hella good! The kebobs were yummy! The dessert was subtly sweet...if I had the room, I would've eaten it all! It was all so freakin' good! I loved the splash of rose water to wash our hands at the end of the meal. The service was amazing. When (not if) you go, be sure to bring lots of bills to tip the dancers - they're really good at what they do and hella easy on the eyes! Don't be afraid to cheer them on and dance with them when they encourage you to! You'll have more fun if you do! And stick some tips in the servers pockets as well - our server (the owner's son, Sharief) was very attentive...gave us great service and was just all around wonderful to us!!! I'll be going back there on my next visit to Vegas. Thank you, Marrakech, for being the absolute highlight of my bachelorette party! You rock!!! Really - you do!
- Pros: Delicious Food, Wonderful Service, Talented & Beautiful Dancers, Parking
- Cons: None
Highlight of our Bachalorette Party!
by hipbec
This family owned business [father (owner), 2 sons (servers), & daughter (belly dancer)] welcomed us with open arms & big smiles. This restaurant had it all: awesome food, great belly dancers entertainment, fun servers, and a positive vibe. Our bachalorette party stayed there for 4 hours! We were very welcomed & were encouraged to dance, clap, & cheer while the performances were on. You will not leave here hungry, the food is unbelievably good. This was the first time I have had Moroccan food and I was worried that I might not like it, but they served food that everyone likes. The cocktails are tasty & strong, watch out... they creep up on you! I recommend the specialty mai tai and ask for the 'Sharifalicious' shot (a shot made by the owner's son). Sharif, our server was fun & witty (he made our night) with our group of 7 rowdy girls. I highly recommend this restaurant for the food, fun, people, and entertainment. Plan on spending some hours here, its not an eat & leave quickly kind of place. Sit back & watch the beautiful belly dancers or jump up and dance with them! You won't be disappointed!
Our Annual Christmas-New Years Place
by craigandholly
Morroco may not bring to mind Christmas, but between Christmas and New Years, our family of eight celebrates with the staff at the Marrakech. It is a fabulous atmosphere that our little kids love, in large part due to the owner and staff loving to see the kids enjoy a unique meal. The belly dancers liven up the place and always give our daughters a chance to shake it. In short, the Marrakech should be on anyone's "must list" for Las Vegas.
- Pros: Great food, atmosphere, staff, and group outing.
- Cons: A bit too much for a first date, but always great for any others!
A great Las Vegas tradition
by shoequeen36
My family and I have been going to the Marrakech for years, we are natives of Las Vegas, and support the long time business owners in our town. This is a great place for a birthday party, or a romantic dinner for two. The dancers are very skilled and artistic, the food is excellent, but it's a lot of food, so come hungry!!
The owner is always very gracious and friendly, and buys my family/friends a round of after dinner drinks, as a thank you for being patrons. The waiters are all fun and outgoing, very family oriented. I gie them an A+
- Pros: unique experience, great price for a dinner show!
- Cons: parking lot gets full on weekends
Tantalizing to all senses
by biogal06
My first time was a Saturday night for my boyfriend's birthday. As you walk into the small-medium dining room, you are welcomed by warm colors and low lights. The shrimp scampi appetizer is served with bread and this app' is full of flavor. Contrary to what "Along came Polly" leads us to believe, Moroccan food is not necessarily spicy. The entire dinner was delicious. I loved that you eat with your hands before the main course.
That night, a really large party was there, and we received as much attentive service as they did. The entire staff was really nice (and they weren't fakin' it). The Belly dancers were very beautiful and being a belly dancer, myself, I appreciated the talent the women possessed. I was really surprised to have enjoyed such a culture-filled night in a classy environment in Las Vegas of all places. I visit Las Vegas a few times a year, exploring off-strip restaurants as much as possible, and I will definitely be visiting this place every time I'm in Vegas.
- Pros: Food, Service, dancers
- Cons: Small dining room/ little privacy for romantic affairs
