Coolest place to eat ever!
by Squid42
First off, I am a big Trek fan and my wife is not. I dragged her to Quarks fairly reluctantly, but the result was one of joy. We both had great meals and from then on out, every time we visit Vegas we go to Quarks for great food. I always get the Flaming Ribs of Targ, and she usually mixes it up with a different dish each time. Everything we have had has been wonderful. The drinks are also great (some of the best in Vegas). My favorite has been the "Systems Overload" which is quite a potent martini. The presentation of the drink is also quite unique. The atmosphere is great for anyone who loves Star Trek. Various characters walk around and play their parts, and big screens show clips from movies and shows, while one screen in the eating area will show full length movies. This is a restaurant that should please all even if you are not a big Star Trek fan. Great food and great service!
- Pros: Great food, service, and value!
- Cons: None
Best costumes

Good atomsphere and characters in costumes walk around and come over to your table and talk to you. Good sandwiches and drinks. A place that Star Trek fans and kids would love.
- Pros: fun
- Cons: waited awhile to see any Star Trek Characters
Kids and adults both dig this far-out restaurant inside the "Star Trek: The Experience" attraction at the Las Vegas Hilton.

In Short
Relaxing over an ice cold beer the color of Windex (also known as Romulan Ale) while actors dressed as Ferengi and Klingons hover nearby may not be everyone's bag, but Star Trek and sci-fi fans will eat it up. The fare ranges from a Hamborger with Warp Toppings to Petrokian Sausage Jambalaya. Quark's also features Intergalactic Happy Hours featuring live music to go along with that endless loop of scenes from the various "Trek" shows.
Fun, value, and surprisingly excellent food

I don't really expect much from theme restaurants other than overpriced food and wall memoribilia. Quark's is a gem even if you aren't into Star Trek. It's a good value with great portions and hey this food is GOOD. I've been going for 3 years now when I'm in town and I can't live without a Romulan Ale (blue beer) and Flaming Ribs of Targ (a huge rack of pesto covered pork ribs that are lit on fire at your table!) This was a recommendation from a roaming Klingon that takes a few moments to roast the patrons at their tables (not intrusive though) The decor details are perfect and comfortable. I eat at the more expensive places at night, but I make sure to eat at Quark's for a great lunch or two.
- Pros: fun, selection, food
- Cons: a bit geeky, almost hidden
Outstanding

Quarks is my favorite place to go, I've only been here for 6 months and I've already eaten here at least a dozen times. The food is good, the appetizers are even better, the drinks are definately out of this world. The prices are great and their plates are filling. The staff adds a fun touch to the place with their costumes and make up and they are so entertaining and unbelievable. What would you do if a Klingon approached you as you were eating dinner? This is definately a place to go for fun and laughs. A perfect place for a romantic date or a group dinner.
- Pros: Inexpensive, immeadiate seating, entertaining
