Well, after watching Cirque du Soleil's Mystere (that show was awesome!!!), my family and I decided to find something good to eat. Well my parents decided to eat at Spago. My parents have been to the Spago at Beverly Hills, so I decided to trust them. The atmosphere of the restaurant was great (we didn't go to the cafe because it was too crowded and we want to be secluded). The waiters were especially nice, although they felt like robots, one thing that I hate, waiters that act like robots and with no expression whatsoever. I forgot what my family chose, but I decided to go with their Crabcakes as an appetizer, and the Seafood Paella as the main course, When the Crabcakes came out, the plating of the dish was very elegant. The crabcakes were of good proportions and the size was small enough to give me a start. I like my crabcakes with a crisp, but these crabcakes felt breaded, although I do not remember exactly what the covering was made of. However, to comtemplate for the non-crispness, the crabcakes were especially rich with flavor. It wasn't too rich so that I wouldn't be able to taste my main course, that I like. However, when the Seafood Paella came out, I was very much disappointed. The taste of the paella was great, once again rich and juicy. There was seafood in the paella, but the paella came with a huge chunk of chicken. There was actually more chicken than seafood in the Seafood Paella. Now, if a Seafood Paella has more chicken than seafood that doesn't really seem good to eat. Why they just call the Seafood Paella the Chicken Paella. Nevertheless, the taste was exceptional. Finally, my parents, having been to the Beverly Hills Spago, wanted a melted cheese dish that was Beverly Hills exclusive. What was impressive was the the head chef gladly decided to make this dish, even though did not have the right cheese to make the dish. The dish was stringy and and went well with the flatbread. At the end, I had some tea. I would come back here again.

Pros: Great food; chef willing to make food however way you want

Cons: Does not understand what a Seafood Paella is

If I had to think of heaven, Spago's would be it. This is food to be experienced with your eyes closed, to enjoy the symphony of tastes. The staff appear when needed and are so discreet as well. For a quiet environment , eat at the inside area and treat yourselves to a taste sensation.

Pros: All of it

Cons: No cons

My boyfriend and I went to Spago on our recent vacation, and it was amazing. The food was exquisite! And our waitress was the best! We were in Vegas for a week and ate at amazing restaurants every night, but this one was the best by far! The tuna tartare was the best we've ever had! And the unexpected combinations of foods and sauces are amazing! At the end of our meal the head chef came out and asked us how everything was, something we always appreciate! I definitely recommend Spago!

Pros: Amazing food and Service

Cons: A little crowded//loud

My husband and I dined here before going to see Celine Dion in concert Thursday night. It was the perfect opening to an amazing night at Caesar's Palace. Our dinner at Spago's was perfection from beginning to end. To start our waiter was very friendly and quite knowledgeable. He was able to answer all of our questions about each dish and was able to recommend a wine for our dinner choices. My husband started with a personal pizza with fig. Amazing! I had the heirloom tomato salad. Absolutely mouth watering. We each chose to have the kobe dish which was cooked to perfection. For dessert I had the creme brulee and he had a raspberry and creme dish...each was made to order and a wonderful experience. The chef greeted us as he did many other guest. But his warm manner made the experience that much more meaningful. The decor is elegant and makes for a very romantic experience. Be it a large group or dinner for two you will not be disappointed. Spago's is now my new favorite place to dine in Vegas. I can't wait to go back.

We had the misfortune of eating here recently. It has really slipped in quality over time, but that tends to happen when a chef begins the chain/franchise business and only cares about self-promotion rather than quality. I would not call the sausage pizza and pasta bolognese we had "gourment." They were incredibly bland and unseasoned- moreover, the sausage pizza had a bizaree aftertaste and the crust was undercooked. The server was nice, but it's not worth going to a place for service that should be friendly at a minimum. They contacted me after I complained, which is a sign of decent management. But I didn't want a refund. I wanted them to know that their standards are declining. Z

Pros: In Caesars- great for people watching, decent wine

Cons: poor food, overpriced

I was so surprised to read the positive reviews for Spago on here. I went here last Saturday while in Vegas for my Mom’s birthday. She had been to the café for lunch a few years ago and loved it, so she wanted to try it again for her birthday dinner. We made the mistake by not realizing there were two different menus—one for the café and another for the attached restaurant (there is no wall dividing them so it’s a very easy misconception). By the time we sat down and looked at the menu (we couldn’t order from the café menu) it was too late to get up and leave without being rude so we decided to stick it out. I’m from New York City and I have no problems paying for a good meal, but this was ridiculous. The menu was very faux gourmet. I had the tuna and it was so bland. My sister said it best when she described her food as very “lean cuisine”. The wine list is ridiculously overpriced—at least $20 more per bottle for the same wine you’d see in another restaurant. There were only a couple bottles under $50 and they would have been about $7.99 at the wine mart. I read a press release today from a Spago PR rep boasting that Britney Spears dined here with her new boy toy on Monday. Sure hope they enjoyed their pathetic meal they could have gotten in the frozen food section at their local grocery store! Hey, I guess I’d eat anywhere for free, too. However, we made up for our disappointing meal the next night by going to CraftSteak at MGM and had the prix fixe Kobe steak dinner. It was probably twice the price, but worth every penny.

Pros: in caesars

Cons: overpriced, bland and boring food

We live in Los Angeles, but only ate at the original Spago once. We love to eat at Spago Las Vegas because not only is the food extraordinarily tasty, but the staff treats you like you matter. They are kind and always have a table for us. We've never made reservations, we just pop in and may have a 5-10 minute wait but it's well worth it. The pasta is al dente, the sauces are super flavorful and they will make your child spaghetti with marinara sauce for only $6.95! The service is consistently good and the ambience is nice. They have yummy bread as a starter and the mushroom soup is very good. The kid's spaghetti is full of delicious tomatoes and the menu changes often. I highly recommend any of Wolfgang's Las Vegas restauants.

Pros: Consistently Great Food And Service

Cons: They really pack in the tables.

I had lunch there last week. Although it was pricey, the food was good and the service prompt. There were several people waiting on us so the service was good. We went on a Thursday so the restaurant was not busy. Overall, I would recommend the restaurant.

Pros: Good food and service

Cons: Pricey

If you like friend calamari, get it here; they fry the heck out of it so you don't even taste the calamari. I was disappointed by that. The butter lettuce salad is good, not great. The pastas are decent. Overall, food is just okay. I think it used to be better. Service is fine. This place wins in location, in the Forum Shops, and in atmosphere because you can sit outside and watch shoppers and feel like you're on a street-side bistro. I think it's a good bet for lunch, but a little overrated for dinner.

Pros: Great atmosphere

Cons: Food is a little unimaginative

Went to Spago's for lunch with my husband. We had calamari appetizer and mix marshrooms fettucini. The calamari and fettucini were served at the same time. We were expecting to have calamari first after 15 mins wait, it was not a good serivce our appetizer and feetucini were delivered together. The calamari was good, but the butter is falling apart. The mix marshroom fetucini was good, too.

Pros: food

Cons: butter, service, price
