my boyfriend and i went there for valentines day...i heard so much hype about the restaurant but to tell u the truth...i would never go there again...i ordered the filet (the girl said the "petit" should make me full"...to my surprise...it was less than the size of my fist!!! it was around $30 for that little thing....i wish she told me that for a few dollars more, i could have gotten double the oz......the potatoes au gratin didnt have any flavor...its just some semi mashed potatoes slapped with melted cheese...my boyfriend ordered the pork chopped that had too much of an apple-y taste....their baked potato is pretty good..but then again..i can go to another restaurant for a baked potato like that,but half the price

Pros: flavorful steak

Cons: pricey, small portions for the price you pay

I highly recomend this establishment. EVERYTHING was spectacular! From the food to the service. The parking was a bit annoying but well worth it!

Las Vegas is honored to have Ruth place her restaurant there. This is a definite 5 Star dining experience. Best for 'Vegas, it is AWAY from the casino noise and crowds. I have been to many of these including over seas. ALL have the same high marks. Steaks are just exceptional. The sides of Broccoli au gratin and potatoes au gration are worthy of a noble honor.

For those very special ocassions, when everything has to be perfect, Ruth Chris has never let me down. Since the first T-Bone I savored in 1995 at the original Ruth Chris in New Orleans to the Cowboy Ribeye I ordered just last week, each and every steak from Ruth Chris has been perfectly prepared, graciously presented, and supremely delicious.

Pros: Lenient on dress code, Gracious hosts, quick service

I always wondered why my friends from wisconsin always recommended this place to me. Its butter. Butter on the steaks. Butter disguises the flavor of the beef. Like butter on your steak this certainly is the place for you. No you will not taste the flavor of the meat. That might be okay! this place is subpar for the price you pay.

Pros: fast food service

Cons: quality not there, wait staff poor

This particular steakhouse is great for many reasons. You can always get steak and alaskan king crab together for a fair price, they always seat you on time if you have a reservation, service personnel are well trained and desserts are good but they should have bananas foster available.

Pros: alaskan crab always a

Cons: no bananas foster

I much prefer the older West Flamingo location...cozier and the food jsut seems superior

If you like your steaks cooked in butter instead of broiled over wood, high prices (very high for side dishes) and mediocre service, this is the place for you. It seems to be a favorite for tourists, perhaps because they recognize the name from the same mediocre steakhouse in their home towns.

My wife and I have enjoyed dinner at many Ruth's Chris steak house restaurants across the country. We recently tried the one in Las Vegas[ off the main strip]. We were both unimpressed by the cafeteria like atmosphere, lack of booths, and bright lights. My wifes dinner was overcooked and she was quite disappointed. Mine, however was excellant. Because we had a show to get to, we could not send her dinner back. If we had not been to so many excellant Ruth's Chris' in the past, we might not consider going back.

Pros: good food, good service

Cons: no atmosphere, price, location

Ruth Chris is a nice place to go Thought dinner's a little pricey The staff's good looking guys and chicks This helps digestion nicely. Consistency is not the word When you go to Ruth Chris Sometimes it's great-Sometimes it's not I really don't like this. When I find a steak I really love To that place I want to go back And when I order the same I want it to taste just like that. At Ruth Chris I have had The finest steak to reach my pallet Unfortunately, there were times I needed a chisel and mallet.

Pros: good looking staff, best steak in town

Cons: crowded, mediocre steak, long wait for table
