I was in and out in no time. AWESOME customer service! And I got a Thank you card in the mail!! How cool is that! So a friend of mine recommended this store to me and I'm recommending it to you!! So go get your camera at Sahara Cameras! Tonnya

It takes them 10 days to order basic lenses that would be expected by most to be in the store already. And could be recieved in 3 days from stores all the way on the east coast (i.e. B&H), at a lower price including shipping cost! The pickens are slim here as far as camera stores, and they seem to know it. I guess I don't appear to be a photographer (happen to be a professional who travels here , LA and NYC), so they gave me bogus information and don't seem to be comfortable with the new technologies. I also witnessed the salespeople ignore certain people, as well as go overboard for people who didnt even make a purchase. You will probably have to go here if you cant order by internet or phone. However, if you have that option, you will do well to totally not consider this establishment.
Pros: store is located in Las Vegas
Cons: Small inventory, Unprofessional & Unknowledgeable Staff, Long wait on ordering

# Be conversational: Write it as if relaying your experience to a good friend. # Be specific: Generalities like "lazy service" or "tasty pizza" leave people wanting more detail. # Be yourself: If you're an expert on burgers, let us know. If this is your first-time massage, say so.
Pros: Store hours were convenient.
Cons: Prices were lower than those at other stores.

I recently purchased a medium format system (Pentax 645) and the staffer that assisted me was friendly, attentive when I needed him to be, and yet allowed me freedom to wander and just look... amazing! The price for the used system was extremely competitive with prices that I found on the net offered by B&H and other online companies, which is a huge plus. In my instance I bought the used 645 body for $450 when it retailed for over $2100 NIB; and while I could buy it for less on say ebay, you just never know the condition until it arrives, so the confidence of having them say "it's good" was worth the extra money. The in store stock has a huge selection which includes film systems rather than all digital (a huge plus, IMHO). The years of experience of the staff, which was very evident after the many questions we asked of both employees, made me feel I was in good hands. They at NO time treated any question as beneath them, which unfortunately can happen at some places; and the answers given were complete and sometimes almost more than we needed (not a bad thing at all). The developing lab in the back was also staffed by a knowledgable young man who was able to confidently answer many of my questions since I was a first time user of 120 rollfilm. All-in-all my experience was second to none and I would recommend them to anyone.
