Been in Vegas for over 11years. Met my now fiance 8 years ago. Took me to the Komol Restaurant for our 2nd date, and now for 8 years I'm still coming back for their Tom Ka and Panang. It's an amazingly delicious restaurant. I'm filipina and didn't eat much spicy then, but the way the flavor of the spices Komol puts in the food, makes it so good, not hot. And yes its all home made. We tried thai spice, and thai bbq, but the service and food flavor is just not the same. I'm not a vegan, but their vegan menu is huge. In fact they have a separate menu for vegans. The restaurant is going through renevations soon, and now deliver. I can't wait to see the changes. Stop by when ever your in town. You wont regret it.

Pros: Great food

Cons: Hard to find

I live in Las Vegas and this is truly an oasis for me. It's quality Thai food that is not pretentious and served by friendly waiters. I used to live in Austin TX and Dallas TX and travel to California often so I've had my share of Thai food. Komol tops my list of Thai restaurants. I am a vegetarian and they have a wonderfully large and unique menu for vegetarians. They also have a larger menu for omnivores and our friends who eat meat love this place as much as we do. I always start with the Mushroom Tom Yum or Tom Kha. They have great corn patties. The Pad Thai, Pad See Yew, Ginger Tofu, Red/Green curry, Panang curry etc are just divine. They also make a gorgeous homemade coconut ice cream (with jackfruit pieces) that I HAVE to have when I am there. The prices are reasonable, the waitstaff are friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and they even serve organic wines. I would recommend this place to ANYONE who wants good Thai food.

Pros: Great food, good service, fair prices

Cons: Not a fancy restaurant

I am fequent traveler to Vegas for tradeshows along with my staff and we always make effort to go here for the excellent food and friendly staff and to hide from exhibitors and attendees. They make the meal as you want mild to hot. Fabulous soups. Has become my favorite place in Vegas - no waiting, relaxing, parking right in front and excellent food. We have been patronizing them for 3 years about 6 times a year or better. Location is odd but worth the trouble. Staff is so accomodating- family owned and most appreciative of business patrons

Pros: best soup, friendly helpful staf, super prices

Cons: location is odd

The best Thai soup in Nevada and California...Mushroom Tom Kha. Order it hot if you can handle it. Komols other dishes are also wonderful but after you eat this soup you'll end up with cravings for it.

Pros: great food, family run, nice atmosphere

Cons: none

This is the absolute best thai in town. I have family from NY and Cal and they say this competes as the best thai in the country believe it or not. Excellent choice for Thai....

Thai off-the-Strip hot spot goes from mild to wild, depending on your ability to handle the peppery fare.  See the full editorial review.
