Food price changes on the fly
by azizedelam
The owner has two different menus. One is given to the man which has prices written on it by a marker that is hard to read. There is a separate menu for ladies with no price list. When we asked him why ladies menu has no price, he got offended and told us we can leave his restaurant if we do not like it. We found him to be very sexist. The owner is constantly in your face, selling antiques from one corner, and selling food products and managing the restaurant at the same time. We noticed that he also made sexist comments to another couple who were sharing their food . He told her that “she is such a nice girl by sharing her food with her boyfriend” which made her very uncomfortable. We had driven a long time to get to Las Vegas and some people in our party were too hungry, so we decided to stay and eat our lunch. The food is OK, but the service is less than professional. We did not leave a dime as tip and will never go back there again
- Pros: Food is OK, but there are better persian restaurant in town
- Cons: The owner is very rude and un-professional
Its what you make of it

Some of the items are very Americanized, while others are very authentic. If you want
authentic, stick to the stews and koobideh kebab. The maast o khiar is worth a try as well.
My main problem here is paying so much money for a meal at a place with plastic chairs.
- Pros: The food is consistently good
- Cons: The prices
Must try!

this was a great place to eat! We went early on a Thursday for dinner. So we were seated right away. The restaurant was very clean. The staff very helpful and knowledeable. The food arrived quickly and the presentation was very nice! The servings are quite big and we could have easily shared a meal however we wanted to try different things. We ordered the Iranian stew which was wonderful their was a nice blend of seasonings, large "man" size portion. I ordered the classic chicken both came with rice and the chicken was cooked to perfectin still moist but fully cooked. The seasonigns were not overpowering yet they were full flavored. The hummus and pita we ordered as an appetizer was very good. The pita is made fresh daily ( another location) and they also have their own bread made on site daily also very good!!
Not completely new to
Persian Dining yet still a novice our wait staff was great in assisting us in ordering and the finer details of eating the food.
Their was music in the background but not ovepowering. It could be a ROMANTIC MEAL.
On weekends they apparently have belly dancing so I think we might like to go back during that.
Very nice experience!
- Pros: food, service
- Cons: none
This place satisfies any hankering for Mediterranean with Persian delicacies.

In Short
Owner Habib Asad cooks Persian/Middle Eastern food in his bright, simple and open restaurant located on the West side in the Sahara Pavilion Shopping Center. Regulars attest that his hummus, tabouleh, kebabs and dolmah (stuffed grape leaves) are incomparable. Shish kabab, chelo kabab and the khoresht fesenjan (chicken marinated in pomegranate juice then stewed with pomegranate seeds and crushed walnuts) is a tasty eye-opener to the wonders of Persian cooking.

The food at Habib's is authentic, portions are large, and the quality is outstanding! The prices are a bit high, but its definitely worth it for the experience. You can't go wrong with any meny item, nor with any night you choose to visit. The staff is great and help make any occasion a special one. This is the best restaurant in Las Vegas!!!
