I am very knowledgeble about food and open minded. Reviews that are postive on here must be related in some way to the restaurant. If you want watered down sauce, old soup, rubbery chicken then this is your place....

Pros: Neat little building, ambience, close to downtown.

Cons: Pre cooked then reheated, rubbery chicken, flat watery sauce, waste of money.

I work downtown, so there aren't many good lunch options for me. Consequently, I end up eating at Joe's pretty frequently because one of the guys suggests it. The food is consistently average to below average. The red sauce is very ordinary and leaves an unpleasant, lingering garlic taste in your mouth. The negative reviews about the bread are right on the money; it's like a crusty Wonderbread. The butter is always frozen so unless you hold it in your hand to warm it, you won't be able to spread it on the awful bread. Really, the only thing the bread is good for is sopping up some sauce. The soup, which is the same everyday, is basically overcooked garlic with a hint of tomato sauce poured over pasta. It's rubbish. The salad is worse than the stuff you get in a bag at the grocery store. Even with all these negatives, I'll admit that the entrees are generally okay, but not great. The service is pretty standard. I try to avoid Joe's when I can, but without a lot of options to counter a co-worker's suggestion, I'll be back. My advice is to eat somewhere else, but if you have to eat at Joe's, go with the chicken parm. It's a standard, and they don't screw it up. If you're looking for a cheap Italian meal and are prepared for average food, this is your place. If you are looking for a pleasant surprise, keep looking.

Pros: Location (good for downtown employees); price

Cons: Bad bread; horrible salad; gross soup

I am baffled by the good reviews of this restaurant. It was hands down one of the worst places I've ever eaten. I'm not a food snob, but I know and love good italian food having grown up on the East Coast. This place was just flat out awful. Your local pizzeria probably has better food than this place. While the ambience was good, there was not one Italian working there, and it felt like the chef learned how to good at a local prison. The Veal Parm was disgusting. They were "out" of spaghetti. The silverware was dirty. The bread was like Wonder Bread. The salad was lower grade then McDonalds. And it was in the middle of nowhere. So unless you're an ex-con, you should probably pass on this place.

Pros: None

Cons: Rubbery meat, Crappy Bread, "No Spaghetti"

This is one of the best places in Las Vegas to eat and take out of town guests. The food is great and the atmosphere is worth the trip. I have lived in Las Vegas for over 20 years and being a transplant from New York - I must admit - it is as good or better then some of the places back home. The staff has always been great also.

Pros: Great Food, Great Staff, Great Fun

Cons: Parking, Closed Sundays

I am a creature of habit and so is my Father; we have our usual spots that we go to every Sunday. About a month ago we were driving down 4th and spoted Joe's and the food just melted in my mouth, the italian ice cream was Fantastic and for the first time in a really long time my father fininshed all his food. That to me means that the food has to great. I recommend that if your in the neiborhood, stop by the food is great and the price is right.

Pros: Great service, Great Food, Interesting History

Cons: A little Small, bigger tables , More seating

Was hotter then heck in the back dining area where the front was nice and cool. Asked to sit up front and said it was reserved. Considering this place doesnt take reservations I was appauled. The waiter was very short with us and acted as if he was dfoing us a favor by even being there. Would NOT suggest going there. First impressions last forever, will never return!

Cons: , Poor service, mediocre food

We laughed from the time we walked in to the time we left. We travel to Vegas twice a year from Upstate NY and we will return to Chicago Joe's. See you there!

Chicago Joe's is truly like going to your Italian Grandmother's house for a family dinner. It's a quaint little old house converted into a warm and cozy restaurant. The staff is friendly & knows everything about what they serve. If they don't have what you want on the menu they can usually make it for you anyway. My highpiont is the Shrimp or Lobster FraDiAvlo. The corner table in the back is truly perfect for a romantic dinner with someone special. This is a taste of Chicago's Little Italy right here in Sin City!

Pros: Food, Staff, Atmosphere

Cons: Bad area, Restricted & metered

The most comfortable eating establishment in Vegas. You are put at ease the second you walk in-as if you were dining with old friends in their home! The food was delightful. The portions are very generous. The service was better than any other experienced in Vegas. It deserves to be on your next eating agenda!

Pros: Portions, Service, Inexpensive

Cons: Parking
