The Scene
Reminiscent of the wild and wooly West with modern touches, this three-resort complex is a tiny town unto itself. It even includes an RV Village. The super-tall, super-fast (up to 80 miles per hour) Desperado roller coaster runs through the resort's porte cochere.

The Details
The rooms here are fun and rustic in style, and the swimming pool is buffalo shaped. Carolee's movie theater presents first-run movies, and the 6,000-seat Star of the Desert Arena features acts such as Ronnie Milsap and Tanya Tucker. The Adventure Canyon Log Flume Ride is popular, as is the state-of-the-art video arcade. Dining ranges from Miss Ashley's buffets and the 24-hour Wagonmaster Coffee Shop to Tony Roma's and Batelli's fine dining Italian restaurant. Parent company MGM Mirage provides buses five times daily between the MGM Grand and Primm's Fashion Outlet of Las Vegas, which houses more than 100 stores.
