Moon has never did me wrong. The house djs are great and play that electro, house, hiphop dance mix. From there you can get to the playboy lounge as well.

CROWD/DRESSCODE

The crowd is a bunch of hipster kids majority of the time that dress urban yet a hint of rock. Older guys that know what's hip can be found here and the girls are always chic. You can wear jeans here and a Tshirt and you're all good.

BEST VIEWS

The view is much better at this club than ghostbar. Unfortunately the space outside the patio is not as big as ghostbar.

The dancefloor is small but there always seem to be room and the people aren't ugly there either even after you had a few drinks. haha

BEST DAYS

I like to hit this place up on a tuesday and a late saturday usually.

SOMETHING COOL

I believe when it hits midnight the roof opens up so you can see the "moon" haha makes you wonder what happens if it rains. The fog and the laser light show from upstairs is awesome. There's tables up there and a bar, plus open to the public to stand and watch what is going on downstairs.

I would highly recommend this if you're into something smaller than a big nightclub compared to Rain. Especially on a saturday since Rain nightclub is more trancey because of Perfecto with Paul Oakenfold.

Moon, including The Palms Casino and all of their clubs are ghetto. After following a group smoking weed into the casino, i got barked at by a bunch of kids and continue to be harassed throughout the Casino. Security anywhere? NOPE! I also noticed a lot of fat girls in little dresses and amateurs choking on cigars. The DJ played Miley Cirus.....enough said. The service staff was hideous as they were terrible. We made the most of it since we had already bought a bottle. The bartender told us to go to a more of an upper scale club like XS or Vanity. And we did the next few nights......HUGE difference in service, atmostsphere and music!!!

• Cons: ghetto, bad service, cheesy

Agree with the other reviewer, if you're a guy and can't show up early (10ish) don't bother. You'll have a good time if you're willing to burn a lot of money. Avoid the management or any staff in a suit - their patience is thin, their attitude and sarcasm cut like a sharp knife - totally ruined the mood.

Everything about this ultra-romantic lounge shimmers in elegance. It is perched more than 50 stories high in the Palms new Fantasy Tower, so the view of the Strip is only rivaled by the glittering stars from the clear desert sky. As guests enter, the floor sparkles with asymertical glass tiles while fragments of light dance on dozens of hanging beads. The club's main room features a massive retractable roof that opens up to provide a mind-blowing view of the heavens. When closed, the ceiling serves as an enormous video screen. Moon is a space where from the patio you can gaze out at the Strip or stare up at the Milky Way while grooving on the color-changing dance floor.

Best Vegas Club experience I've ever had

Everything about this club was great: music, women, view, staff and ambience. I came here with a group of 8 dudes for my buddies bachelor party on a Saturday. We booked a VIP table and ordered bottles. The whole process was much easier to book than other Vegas clubs. Most other clubs (ie Body English) make you deal with an overbearing "VIP Host" who is basically just a glorified sales person who never answers their phone and can't even promise a reservation 100%. At Moon, we called in and made a reservation with no hassle and they promised the table 100%. When we arrived, we didn't have to wait in line or deal with a pretentious door man. Our table was awesome. Tons of girls came to our table and pretty much every guy in our group who wanted to hook up did. The view is incredible. This was definitely one of the best Vegas club experiences I've ever had.

• Pros: Women, vip table, staff, view, easy to reserve table - no VIP host trying to upsell us
• Cons: expensive, but so is every other club

Amazin Experience!

Went there on Saturday and this is what you should do if you are a guy!!....we got free passes from the conceirge and from there we got ready and got to the club at around 9:30. We got a free all-access pass to all the clubs in the Palms, because of that pass that we got. First, they took us to the playboy club which was amazing and we stayed there till 10:30 because that is when they open up club moon. There is no wait once your in the playboy club. But once your in the Moon Club....omg!!! its soo amazing, the view!,, the women, everything!!!..If you play your cards right, you would have no problem whatsoever getting a couple girls back to your place.. Amazing club!! Highly recommend getting there early, or don't even bother showing up if your a guy.!

Average - Some Good things, some Bad

So, the "line" downstairs in the lobby is a fiasco - kind of like watching a car crash on the side of the road. People are confused and not sure of what to do next or who to talk to. Some keep watching and some go on by.

If you get past the line, you then have to deal with the elevator - both on the way up and way down - it's time consuming. But, once you get upstairs into the club, the view is cool - just like the Ghost Bar next door, but cool none the less. The staff was a mix of nice people and rude people so it balances out as a split. the crowd was the same - some good looking some rejects. The restroom was too small and you can't easily go into the casino as an alternative since it is an elevator ride away - so pace yourself.

In short, it's a newer, larger version of Ghost Bar. Nothing special.

Great Vibe!

I have to been to all the clubs in Vegas, this one is the tops. Best view, Best music, Great vibe, etc. The first thing that stood out to me was how nice the staff was. No more rude bouncers with attitude. All the employees including the bartenders were extremley nice and accomodating. This is a first in Vegas. This is what will bring people back, including myself. Music was top notch. Dance floor was big. They have two walkways on either side of the rectangle shapped dance floor so you can get by without having to zig zag around the dancers. Sound system was loud, but very clean did not strain the ears. They spent a lot of money on details at this club. A must see. A++++++
