Vegas hidden gem!

Social House delivers as the perfect place before the club and as a gastronomical experience. Hidden away atop Christian Audigier Nightclub at Treasure Island, you will find a unique dining area that is full of nooks and crannies. Each part of the restaurant features semi private areas that can accommodate a variety of party sizes. They have the best version of Yellowtail Jalapeno, made famous by chef Nobu. Social House's menu has a great variety of items for people who love raw seafood, cooked seafood, and even those who don't do raw or eat seafood. Their steaks are done to perfection and are either prime grade or Kobe beef. You can enjoy a nice dinner out with friends or just grab a quick meal before the club, I love Social House and will be coming back for ages. Don't forget to try some of the sake on their list!

Amazing atmosphere+bad food= Failure

I am Asian and have worked at Sushi reastaurant for many years. It means I know what Japaness dish tast like

The Social House food is not even near to everage.

The service are exellent and employees are very stylish,yet the food is simply-really-bad. Reastaurant suppose to proud of their food, not covering their shortage with model-kinds waiters and waitresses.

The price is also rip off.

Another average sushi joint. Has promise, but misfires throughout.

So the place is definately unique - there are many rooms with many similar, but different vibes - A+ for design and decor.

The staff seems really lost especially at the host stand. They had plenty of people working at the host stand... maybe too many, because there was no direction. We checked in twice (with a reservation) before they figured out what to do. We were brought upstairs to another host stand, where we waited again - with more staff not really knowing what was what - or at least they didn't communicate to us what was going on. We had to ask twice upstairs before being shown to our table - a great start.

So the room we sat in was cool - with big newspapers on the wall and huge industrial fans - they called it the paper room - made sense. Our fairly large group had a long table and we were able to talk and carry on like the overaged kids we are. Drinks were very good as was the saki. The food was good, not great, but certainly good. The portions were very small, however - including the size of the sushi cuts - noticeably small.

The price on the other hand was not so small. So, they went one direction with the portions and the opposite direction with the pricing - not a great formula for the consumer - but I guess a great formula for the operator.

Overall, there are plenty of great sushi spots in Las Vegas, I'll return to the others because they are far more consistent, trained and give better value.

Oh, did I mention that they try and sell you the nightclub next door several times while you are at the restaurant? Like I need some suit or bouncer like dude bothering me while I am eating dinner.... ah, no I don't.

• Cons: Portion size and price. Lost staff. Trying to sell nightclub next door while eating.

great atmosphere, good sushi

Great service and atmosphere. A little on the pricey side. Food was good, not many authentic Japanese dishes, but what they had was well prepared and beautifully presented.

One of the best

Great sushi, beautiful place

My husband and I love Social House. We've sat outside and loved it, been to a private party in a very chic room and loved it, and have sat in a table near the stacked japanese newspapers and loved it. The food selection is great and the restaurant is very chic overall. Very hip and youthful... like a New York hotspot.

We saw Tiger Woods dining here!

WOW! The hostesses are almost nicer to look at than the incredible menu! This place is ideal for friends getting together, or a little romance with some energy. If you go as a group, have one person order all the food. They serve it "family style" and everything is so delicious, you can close your eyes and pick. Otherwise, the waiters will order everything for you. Don't forget to try some sake. They have a berry sake that just about anyone would enjoy. Must haves are the spicy shrimp-balls, kobe beef sliders, spicy tuna rolls, and the spare ribs melt in your mouth! Very cool and trendy scene. Outdoor patio has ideal viewing of the Sirens of TI show. We can't wait to go back to see which celebrity we might see next!

try the watermelon saki

I do not understand how anyone could say that the customer service was not that good.. Maybe the fact that I knew someone who worked there but it was one the of the best dining experiences I have ever had. I pretty much went off only recommendations from the staff. Everything turned out to be well worth it. Taste presentation and everything else. Yes the food was very expensive .......but who cares? I do not go out to fine dining restaurants to save money or get a good deal nor am I rich matter of a fact I go to college and I work at a hotel. Regardless whoever is looking "get what they paid for", should eat at the Olive Garden and stay away from Vegas. Maybe some of you people should stop complaining and enjoy your vacation instead of being cheap. The Social regardless of its "trendy" attitude pulls its weight when it comes to a fine dining contender.

Relaxed yet upbeat experience

The food and service are as equally amazing as the decor. The restaurant is a very well designed Las Vegas hot spot. Our concierge suggested we dine at Social House, as it is one of the trendiest restaurants in Vegas. Definitely a place to see and be seen. The food was to die for. The Yellowtail Sashimi with jalapeno was superb. Our servers made wonderful dinner suggestions, and we enjoyed every dish they brought out. We will definitely be returning on our next trip to Vegas.

Complete and utter tripe

This place is a trendy and way overpriced, mediocre sushi joint. The service was awful and excruciatingly slow. The ingredients were of high quality, but the delivery and presentation were sloppy. Be prepared for a shock when you get the bill. I paid $25 for two slices of toro.
