Fantastic Sushi!!!
by CSMobileUser
So I was craving sushi at 2:30a.m. and was out with a friend who had never had sushi before, after deciding to be adventurous we looked up "late night sushi las vegas" on my handy dandy blackberry and up pops Kaizen Fusion. We were right around the corner from their perfect and easily accessible location. Once inside the vibe was hip yet still authentic. We sat at the sushi bar, which is the best place to sit, and received excellent service from the start. The menu is abundent, and has beginner items to adventurously exotic, with the prices remaining reasonable. I highly recommend this restaurant.
- Pros: Example: best croissants in town
- Cons: What are the drawbacks?

Worst Sushi Ever??????????????
by sockster
JUST LEFT Kaizen Sushi- Left my dinner to owner/chef Danny. Sushi, sashimi, rolls....so mediocre it hurts...until I got the bill...then it destgryed me....$162 for absolutly HORRIBLE sushi. Chef told me it was fresh..it wasn't..it was just totally mediocre...Nobu is across the street. If you want to spend this kind of money...go there..or ANYWHERE else. Don't believe me...you've been warned!!!! You need to know this before you go HORRIBLE RIPOFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- Pros: NONE
- Cons: TOTALLY A RIP OFF
Failed the chef test
by chefsteven
As a chef I was excited to go here based soley on the reviews I read. To say I was unimpressed is an understatement. I went with a open mind and 20 years of kitchen experiance yet was taken aback by how filthy the open kitchen was. No Sushi case for the fish whatsoever meaning they consistantly hold at the wrong temp. I also observed the dirty cooks wiping there hand on they're chef coats and scratching they're face before touching raw fish!
I ate my Tempura of no flavor for fear the sashimi would make me sick!. Once again people associate ambiance with good food! Not the case here............Just bad food served by a pretty staff that does not care as long as they keep getting money. What
a shame because I was looking forward to good sushi....
- Pros: Great Location
- Cons: Worst Sushi in Town
A Hidden Gem!
by PinkiBone
Kaizen is tucked away in a strip mall across from the Hard Rock. I'd imagine most tourists don't get to experience it because it isn't inside a casino, and it doesn't say much from the outside. However, the interior is really nice! casual, but not a dump! cozy, but se x y! the food is also espectacular. I loved the baked rolls! I can't remember everything I tried but everything was delicious!! The Lychee martini was great, and all their TyKu cocktails and shots are good! the staff is also very friendly!! We try to go back every time we are in vegas!
- Pros: Food, Drinks, service, proximity to the Hard Rock, ambience
- Cons: trying to get a taxi to come pick you up!!! they like to go to the Hard Rock better!
Great Place
by electric3ns
This place rocks! The food is tops for Japanese. They have an ecletic menu, with a good selection of sushi and sake. Plus it is a great place to eat before going to the Hard Rock Hotel across the street.
- Pros: Everything
- Cons: Nothing
Kaizen is a great place.

Take this below review with a grain of salt. Him recommending Dragonfly over Kaizen is preposterous. If you look at there menu, they have a very small menu and are more overpriced than that of Kaizen. I went to the Kaizen on Eastern/Horizon Ridge and the service was excellent, food was excellent and it wasn't over priced at all, with a great selection. Also, the complimentary serving of Edamame was a nice touch, so don't let this one guy trick you into not going to Kaizen, as I have gone there many times and never have been disappointed, especially with the great happy hour they have (2 drinks for the price of 1). So, give Kaizen a try, you won't regret it.
- Pros: Great food at good prices.
- Cons: Never had a bad meal or drink there. So, no cons.
