Love the Authentic Mexican Food, very relaxing from the welcome to the table to the serving and desert. What I especially liked at Ricardo's was the portion size, just enough to fill you up and not too much to waste. My waiter even took our left overs and without asking, went and made go to boxes. He even added some extra tortillas to our boxes. The service was always with a smile.

Pros: Authentic Mexican Food, Great Service

Cons: Hard to pull into parking lot and find space on Friday Night.

Decided to try Ricardos after reading current reviews, and my experience was AWFULL!!! Lousy food, flautas tasted like they were fried in old oil and soggy...couldn't even eat them.... Ordered Don Julio margaritas and received I'm still not quite sure what they served us, tasted like cheap tequila blend.

I have been to ricardos many times, food isnt that great, pretty pricey and the prices keep increasing. The atmosphere is great, margaritas are good, but we really enjoy talking with the manager patti, she is the only reason my husband and i keep going back.

Pros: the company is great

Cons: food is extremely pricey for the taste

My wife & I go to Vegas several times a year, so we're not much of tourists anymore. We prefer to eat at places that the locals have steered us towards. Such was the case with Ricardo's. The restaurant itself is beautiful & the staff was warm & friendly. If you live in south Texas (like I do) & you hear of the place voted "Best Mexican" food, you'd want to try it! I'm sad to say it, I really am, but this place can't hold a candle to either Tex-Mex style or Interior cooking. The food was bland & lacked any zest or flavor. The portions are by all means substantial but are a bit overpriced. My enchiladas were way too salty & wife's carnitas plate was undercooked. Our appetizer (Chile con Queso) was quite dreadful. I'm not the type to bash a restaurant, but I'd really like to know who voted this place as #1. I'm sure they have great ritas (the bar was very cool), but the food is certainly subpar. I won't return & maybe you should avoid it, too. California Mexican food is a fake & poor substitute for the real thing.

Pros: Very nice interior, easy to find, friendly staff.

Cons: Bland food, overpriced.

I came in to Ricardos for lunch with a co-worker. We were treated very nice, the restaurant if very nice inside although the outside sort of blends in at that corner and you might miss it. We sat at the bar area where we had our own 10 inch tv. screen cus we got a booth. That was cool. I ordered the passion fruit margarita and that was really good. The bar is really really nice. I like all the detail from the back of the bar area to the ceiling. The only bad thing here was the food. I ordered Ricards Chicken lunch special. I swear my vegetables tasted like if they were cooked in f@rt water. No joke. I swear by this! The chicken had no flavor because the f@rt water they used to cook my vegetables consumed every other flavor on the dish. I was hungry, so I ordered more chips and salsa and I ate that. My friend oredere a Mexican pizza and it looked good and he finished it, I should have ordered the pizza instead. No, I got stuck with the tasteless chicken and the f@rt water veggies.

Pros: Nice inside.

Cons: Food was bad.

It's a bit of a walk from the strip so if you're not from around town or don’t have a car, the bus or a cab would be the way to go. The service is friendly and welcoming. The margaritas are delicious and after drinking the first half I swore not to have another one because there is no way I could fit another in since they're pretty big, but when the waiter came around again and offered me another I couldn't help myself, they just tasted that good. Needless to say after the meal I couldn't finish the second and had to share it with my partner. I had the lunch fajita’s and they were amazing, everything is so fresh and tasty. I definitely would recommend this place to anyone!

As soon as you walk into this restaurant you feel like a good time is going to be had! Everyone is wearing a smile and is having a great time. The food is always fresh, the staff very attentive and friendly plus willing to give great recommendations! The margaritas and salsa are a staple here as well as the amazing tequilla selection they stock!

I came to Ricardo's a few weeks ago for my moms 50th birthday party. We all had such a good time. The food was wonderful, the decor was true Mexican and the drinks were delicious. Thankfully, my mom had a very memorable birthday here and so did our family. This is a place we will come back to for a low key dinner with friends, or to celebrate a special occassion. Nice job Ricardo's!!!

Pros: Food, Service

Cons: A little noisy

Not great mexican, didn't really care for the salsa. Not authentic mexican, and very poorly done. Won't go back. Decor nice and they spent a lot of money on that, but they need better cooks. Service good. Drinks fine, I just was so turned off by the food everything else just didn't really register. Not memorable, won't return.

Pros: Service, staff, atmosphere

Cons: The food
