Beatle fans should not miss!
This is an amazing treat for Beatles fans. The room has a very intimate feel to it, making most of the seats equally fine. Only the top-most seats should be avoided. I wouldn't go for the most expensive seats either as it's too close and there's so much to take in. On the Mirage website look for the theater map and go for the middle seats on any side. The music is so state-of-the-art that it will spoil you for anything to come. The music actually comes out of your chair at head level - creating an effect that has to be experienced. There's a part of the show that is so much like a 60's "happening" which involves the whole audience - I won't reveal it here, but it's quite a thrill.
YOU MUST BE A BEATLES FAN TO REALLY ENJOY
Love is just that. If you are in love with everything that is the Beatles you will be thoroughly engrossed in this production. We attended a preview on 6/23/2006. The volume of the recordings were SO loud during the first half that we physically got sick to our stomachs. The visuals were well created, especially the streaming lights hanging from the ceiling. They made you feel like you were in a field of fireflies and then in a rain storm. The storyline was thought provoking and well timed. Again...YOU MUST KNOW EVER WORD OF EVERY SONG THE BEATLES RECORDED TO UNDERSTAND ANYTHING GOING ON ON STAGE. If you don't know the lyrics coming in...DON'T BOTHER! You will maybe be awed by the visuals but you will not connect to it's meaning.
