Seating Location is Important

by DavidJohnston

The automatic ticket system keeps trying to stick you in the seats it thinks are best. If you want to pick your sets, get a copy of the seating arrangement and call to talk to a live ticket agent.

If you sit too far forward you miss the chandalier action as it takes place behind you. if you sit front row center you either miss it all or you get a kink in your neck. Sit about 20 rows back from the stage. (Also if you sit front row center you may get your eyebrows singed!)

We went on Thursday night. Turns out that is the night the understudies get to be on stage. If you talk to a live ticket agent you can check on this and make sure you see the main actors/actresses.

You might also ask if there is an adult only night. Some people bring pretty young kids to this and their explaining what is going on to the kids is a major distraction.

They could also use a "dress up" night once a month so you can either wear a tuxedo/ball gown or a period piece to match the play. Las Vegas has really gone down hill on dress codes since the RatPack days. This play would be a good place to raise the standards.

  • Pros: Did not cut corners on production..
  • Cons: Need an adults only night.

Great to see the play in Las Vegas!

by John89123

The play is great and the stage production is fantastic. The cast received a standing ovation for the performance. We have been to the production two times, enjoying every performance. There is no bad seat, however sitting off to the side in the middle is a better view of the special effects.

  • Pros: Great night out, great facilities, value and performance.

Excellant!

by tambotambo

Worth the money to pay a little extra and get really good seats. incredible sets, and the singers were top notch. Unlike the movie, they can actually sing. My husband even liked it. I've been wanting to see this forever and was not dissapointed at all. cant get the songs out of my head though.

  • Pros: Talented Singers/actors, set, costumes
  • Cons: NONE

Vegas did it good

by muranodiva

I have to say I was a little worried to go see this show after seeing it on Broadway, but they did a good job of it. The special effects were good and the singers all did a good job, except for the Phantom, which was disappointing, but not everyone can be Michael Crawford, I know. The way they did the chandelier was amazing and beautiful and I throughly enjoyed the show from start to finish.

  • Cons: Phantom wasn't the best singer
