Yuck
by scottlv
This place is awful. I would give it no stars, but citysearch won't let me. I don't know what the big deal is. Apparently, you can put "a go go" on your name, and lame hipsters will eat it. I have had better grub at a truck stop (and I'm a driver, so I hate truck stops), for a quarter of the price. By the way, I grew up in farm country, but I have no idea what this made-up "farm food" is. Pretentious place, greasy overpriced "farm food".
- Pros: Ridiculously huge portions
- Cons: Ridiculously huge portions of greasy dog food
Decided to try it.

This place used to be a Chevy's, which I used to go to all the time, it was at a convenient location, so I decided to finally try this place. The place is modern and obviously newly remodeled and I was treated well, but there was way too much food on the plate, no wonder it's pricey. It's not farm food like I remember, unless that's what they mean by twisted...anyway, if you want something to talk about go here, if you want a simple breakfast, not recommended.
- Pros: Good location, easy to find.
- Cons: To spicy, to greasy.
Huge Portions!
by Dalaimama69
I had read how great his place was for about a year before going. I had high expectations but was a bit thrown off by some weird flavors. Have an open mind and don't be thrown off by the garnishes that look like someone plucked them out of a pine tree.
My honey got chicken and waffles which he loved and feasted on for an entire week. I had the pork sandwich which I didn't care for. I did enjoy the rib appetizer and huge homemade biscuits.
All in all it was a positive experience but an acquired taste. I heard breakfast is better so we may try again then.
- Pros: huge portions
- Cons: strange spice combos
Huge Portions: Delicious every bite of the way

I love Hash House a Go Go. The Hash House has a very raw, industrial decor. Think, the farmhouse version of a Chipotle. The food here comes in monstrous proportions so you should definitely share with a friend. Don't pay to split a dish... Just share off the same plate and ask for two small ones (smart & cost effective). I have an addiction to their pancakes. Fluffly on the inside, but they have this wonderful nearly crisp outside. The plain pancakes are delicious, but the specialty selections with toppings from blueberries to pecans are to die for. Also, the egg scrables are really good. Who knew a hodge-podge of eggs and other fridge ingredients could have such great flavor!
They have indoor and outdoor seating. But their patio is just lovely on a warm Sunday morning :)
- Pros: Every breakfast food you'll ever want.
- Cons: Pricy (but huge portions so it's in the middle)
Best breakfast I ever had...
by roro08
I was visiting LV from Wisconsin, and we have friends there who recommended we eat breakfast here on our last day. Well, had I known how good it was gonna be, I would have eaten every meal there instead of going to all the restaurants in the hotels!! If we ever get back to Las Vegas, we will definately be eating at hash house a go go again!! I would like to try one of the stuffed burgers!! Wish we had one here:(
Avoid over paying

Awful...I ordered a chicken salad with dressing on the side. what i got was a heavy plate that even the waitress couldnt hold. Yes i got want i ordered my dressing on the side all aound the plate where the waitress was carrying it ..I guess i got more then just i wanted. I got an extra serving of sweat, bacteria, and God knows what. Okay to the food the presentation was so over done it was like my late was growng something from the center...The chicken was so greasy outside and dry inside it was so tough to cut... but is was not as greasy as the fried spagetti sticking out of my plate WHY.. I know for fact no one as my table enjoyed with there food and prices didn't make it any better. just plain awful.
- Pros: nothing
- Cons: dirty, overly done, just plain bad
Breakfast YES - Dinner YES

Great dinner experience!! I've been to Hash House many times for Breakfast and loved it but this time I tried it for dinner and wasn't disapointed. Same good value portions, great presentations and the food was very flavorful. I agree that it wasn't too spicy but I like to be able to add my own and with a little help it was great. My biggest treat was the wine list - not an ordinary list - and priced very fairly. Service was casual but friendly and my server was very knowledgeable about the menu. I will definitely bring my out of town guests to this place.
- Pros: Best Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner restaurant I have found in town
- Cons: Food to take home - but sometimes you don't go right home
Hash House A NO NO ( really it's that bad)

WOW!!!! What a disappointment
I recently went for my brothers birthday, and was looking forward to a great experience.
I really wish I would have looked at city search prior to going. Now I'm not one for complaining and when it comes to pasta and chicken it seems like it would be impossible to screw that up, wrong!! Like a previous poster I also ordered the sage chicken and penne pasta, it was absolutely tasteless and bland, I also had to salt the heck out of it, and even then it wasn't much better. On the drive home I was discussing the meal with my parents, suggesting that maybe I just happened to pick the wrong thing, but my parents had also stated that they didn't want to hurt my brothers feelings since he picked the place to eat and just kept quiet, but their meals were awful as well. All in all, my family payed a lot of money for a whole lot of nothing!!
- Pros: portion size and good service
- Cons: food very bland
Awesome Breakfasts!

I've been to the Hash House A Go Go a few times now and have sampled different items on their breakfast menu. I'll agree that a few of their dishes fall short of being great but there are some that are just amazing. First of all, believe the hype - the portions are MASSIVE. You may want to consider plunking down the extra $2.50 to share a dish if you don't want a lot of leftovers. But if you're up for the challenge, here are some things to start your day. The Banana and Brown Sugar pancakes are really good. The pancake is the size of a medium pizza and it's quite tasty with a side of bacon. You really can't go wrong with the scrambles. I personally like the salmon scramble. The hashes are surprisingly nothing spectacular. Outside of being served in a skillet, they're just decent. The dish that my friends and I come back for are either the sage fried chicken benedict or my new favorite, the pork tenderloin benedict. I would recommend getting there before 9:30 am on a weekend or else you might have to wait a bit to get seated. And like any restaurant, once it gets busy, the service can get slow.
- Pros: Pork Tenderloin Benedict and massive portions!
GREAT PLACE FOR BREAKFAST

I'M FROM NY AND EVERYTIME I'M IN VEGAS, THIS PLACE IS FIRST ON MY LIST TO GO EAT. THE PORTIONS ARE OFF THE METER. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK.
