The best chocolate I've ever had! I had tears in my eyes and didn't want the moment to end! If you're going to try anything from here, make sure to try the coconut icecream. It's delicious! and I don't even like coconut icecream. This was truly an experience I'll never forget. I wish I could order!

Pros: All Good

Their sandwich is amazing- out of this world! This is not your typical sandwich place, gourmet selection from the breads, dressing and even packaging. I tried every sandwich they offer, my fav is the turkey. Its a bit pricey at $12 but its worth it.

Pros: Unique, fresh, delish

Cons: Price

If you love chocolate, Jean-Philippe Patisserie is THE place to be when in Vegas... yes, it's a bit pricey ($5.95 for a small chocolate truffle cake for example) but it's TOTALLY WORTH each penny!!!! their cakes are just as artistic as they are delicious and the chocolate is to die for.... now that I had it once, it's hard for me to settle with Godiva anymore...

Pros: Absolute Chocolate Heaven

Cons: a bit pricey.

I stayed at Bellagio and grabed a few goodies from Jean Phillipe during my stay. In terms of taste and value, they were all over the map. First of all, the shop is really cute. It has a chocolate fountain and a crepe station and all around fun atmosphere. I had crab salad one day ($9) and it was big and delicious, one of the best salads I've ever had. One day I had the caramel brioche ($5) and it was a lot of brioche and not a lot of carmel. One day I had a milk chocolate candy bar with hazelnuts. Now these type bars are usually $4 by Lindt or another company, but this one was $10 (that is not a typo). The chocolate bar itself was very thin, half the size of a traditional candy bar, and not nearly as tasty as some other chocolate makers. The hazelnuts sat on top (not mixed in) which looked cool but made it incredibly difficult to eat. One bite and hazlenuts flew everywhere. I had to pick them off and eat the chocolate, chase it with some nuts--not ideal. After the candy bar experience I stopped going to Jean Phillipe and made a few side trips to Chocolate Swan at Mandalay Place.

Pros: Tasty crab salad, fun atmosphere

Cons: $10 candy bars that aren't that delicious

Editor's Review

The massive chocolate fountain is an eye-catcher, but the sweets inside a delight.  See the full editorial review.
