I've seen 4 other Cirque shows in Vegas. This is the worst one in my opinion. For the price, your better off checking out any of the other 4. I agree with a previous post when it was stated that the performers were not very impressive. I usually leave Cirque with a sense of awe and amazement. That was not the case with this show. Fight scenes did not look real, they made shadow puppets, and the acrobatics were almost non-existent. The highlight is the costumes, the stage itself, and the two long-haired guys that were in the large spinning contraption towards the end. The soundtrack was also very well done.
Pros: Stage & lighting
Cons: Not quite on the same level as other Cirque shows

I will preface this by saying I participate in combat arts and I grew up watching various Cirque du Soleil shows. That being said, this show was very average, for Cirque. I was more entranced by the sets, costuming, and lighting than by most of the show itself. In fact, parts of the show were serious yawners. Non-martial arts fanatics may be impressed by the sloppy Wushu and stylized fights, which comments from the exiting crowd seemed to indicate. I wasn't. I wasn't at all impressed by the physical abilities of the performers, not when the very traditional Cirque show Mystere is still running, and IMHO, superior in that aspect. The music was good and very rock influenced, which is a nice change of pace from the usual ethereal choral base. If choosing a Cirque show to see in Vegas, my recommendation would still go to O at Bellagio.

perhaps not may favorite cirque, but there's so many in vegas... how can one compete? if you must watch: 1.) reserve early and ask for the first row balcony. those are the best seats for your money, even if they tell you that there's not a bad seat in the house; 2.) come early, they may ask you to be part of the show; and, 3.) watch your drinks. what you think is a table may really be part of the stage. but, don't fear, there are cupholders on the seats themselves.
Pros: hydrolicly powered stage
Cons: expensive, but well worth the cost

This is the best show in the strip. The script, the stage and evrything else is exsquisite. From the massive floating stage to the depths of the abyss things, including a sinking ship, fall into strain your mind in awe. Enchanted forest and creatures to snow storms with falling ice projected skyward keep you asking "what else can they think of?" Expensive but worth every penny.
Pros: Evrything
Cons: Price

This show is guaranteed to shake you out of your seat. The speakers are wired into every seat and the score is exsquisite. From the massive floating stage to the depths of the abyss things, including a sinking ship, fall into strain your mind in awe. Enchanted forest and creatures to snow storms with falling ice projected skyward keep you asking "what else can they think of?" Worth every cent of the $125.00-$150.00 ticket price.
Pros: score, costumes, sets
Cons: none

I don't know what show a lot of these other reviewers saw. Ka is wonderful. It has a storyline, is incredibly theatrical, and just breathtaking. Definitely a MUST SEE in Vegas.

This show was extremely disappointing. There were a few entertaining parts and the set & stage are fantastic. BUT the show itself follows too much of a story. This show is not the flying around the theatre, acrobatic performance you expect to see at a Cirque show. At one point in the show, they were doing shadow puppets with their fingers. This is not what we paid $100 a seat to see. If I wasn't sitting right in the middle of the row & had to climb over a dozen people I swear I would have walked out of this performance. If you're going to drop $100 on a ticket see ANY OTHER Cirque show but this one!!!!
Pros: The set, the stage
Cons: lack of acrobats, too much story, not live music

While the show did have some entertaining parts, overall it was a disappointment. I saw it with five women and the overall consensus was that it was a letdown. The set is interesting, but the storyline was difficult to follow and the show lacked in the expected Cirque acrobatics. I'm not sure why it is getting such great reviews. I've seen three other Cirque du Soleil shows and this was my least favorite. Save your $125 for "O" of any other Vegas show. Some of us even napped during the performance--if that tells you anything.
Pros: spacious seats

ka may be different from the other cirque shows but i've seen it 3 times. It is much more theatrical that the others and if you open you're mind to other possibilites that to a cookie cut of the other shows then you can see that this show was created with a storyling. amazing special effects and costumes. and like the other cirque shows, the music is live. i recommend it highly to anyo who wants something different. if you're looking for a duplicate of O or mystere then move on.
Pros: no obstructions, well staffed
Cons: late arrivals

I've seen many Cirque du Soleil shows over the years and enjoyed them all. I was therefore very excited to be able to get tickets (even at $300) to see "Ka" in Las Vegas and share it with my boyfriend who had never seen the company perform before. Well, the excitement died out after about 5 minutes into the show. It had nothing of what you would expect from a Cirque performance. No unbelievable acrobatics. No amazing feats of balance or contortionism. Instead you got a baton-twirling, dance show. The action was so slow, I actually fell asleep for a moment. Other people were leaving halfway through. For a classic Cirque experience in Las Vegas, see "O" or "Mystere" instead.
Pros: new theater/seats, good sound/music, great lighting and st
Cons: boring story line, lack of acrobatics, SLOW/no excitement
