Pure at Caesars Palace

This is a great place if you are over 40 and overweight and got some dough. I'm used to NYC scene and I'm not even going to compare Pure to the top clubs...I'm going to say...without a doubt other than the "space" (i.e. the decorations and rooftop view) Pure does not compare to any random club in NYC...not a single one. I gave the bouncer a buck fifty to let me in without waiting on a stupidly long disney style line...he was fishing for more but took it after a little thought. The VIP line is much much longer than the regular but if you have any sense don't go that far. The dance floor is sick..a sea of guys...mixed with the strangest looking and oldest female tourists you will ever see in a dive bar let alone a club. I'm just telling you to save a few hundred dollars on over priced drinks and go somewhere fun. If you are smart enough to go here to read but not smart enough to listen to me I guess you deserve to be swindled out of a fun night in vegas. Also, a tip, those crazy cards people give out on the streets actually work so save a few bucks there.

Pros: anyone with a few bucks and willing to wait on line can get in

My Wife and I first went to Pure a few years ago; when they had just opened. It was one of the best night club experiences we ever had. There was enough room on the dance floor, you could see the Pussycats perform w/out paying any additional money, and you could have moved from room to room without paying for VIP. Now in Oct of 2007 we returned to Pure and we were very sad to see that they took half of the dance floor to place about three additional VIP tables. When the club got full it was inpossible to dance or move around! Come on now! Do they really need more VIP tables that they took away half of their main purpose? When we heard the Pussycat Dolls come on stge in the other room we though, oh well at lease we can see them perform; NO! The bouncer asked for the additional tickets and did not allow us in. And when we tried to move to the other rooms, so that we can get a break from the over crowed main room, they were open only to VIP. Oh, and what's w/the $10 beers?! When I first when to Pure, they were $7. Anyway, I understand it's Vegas and the VIP is what rules. But come on, we can all equally share the space.

Pros: Music, lights, location

Cons: Disappearing dance floor, VIP cost for everthing, $10 beers

Best place in Vegas! Staff is extremely friendly and attentive. If you get a table make sure you get Alex as your bouncer! Place is packed with a great good looking crowd. Music is GREAT, you can dance to all night. Cant wait to go back.

i HAVE TO AGREE WITH EG45!!! And just so you know all MGM/Mirage property's will be having all of their clubs being managed by PURE Mgmt.!!! I cant believe that LIGHT has the #1 spot for clubbing in VEGAS!!!! I used to be a fan of LIGHT when they first opened, unfortunately now, the music has changed and the atmosphere just isnt the same. Ok, so PURE is a little crowded and maybe from time to time the line gets out of control BUT it's like that at ALL CLUBS!!! it's VEGAS!!!! we have millions of visitors on a daily base we are the party capital of the world! IPURE is over 30,000 sq. ft 4 ROOMS, the deck portion has beautiful strip views and they play trance, house, dance etc. - LADIES & GUYS interested in going to PURE and NOT WAITING IN LINE for 2hrs by all means feel free to e-mail me at mizzev@hotmail OR IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN TABLE RSVP. This club is sooo over hyped! They do nothing but bring F-list reality stars to celebrate their birthdays in the club to attract starstruck clubgoers. Absolutely TACKY!!! Anyway, nothing positive to say about the club - way overcrowded (don't be surprised if someone accidentally feels you up or if someone accidentally spills a drink on you), the crowd could've had more class (bouncers are not as picky or discriminating as their "dresscode strictly enforced" rule) and the dancefloor was small (Hubby became a manwich between two less than attractive girls! The look on his face!). Expect to be milked for all you got - drinks are absurdly expensive (served in repulsive plastic cups) and if the Pussycat Dolls are playing in their lounge, if you're a guy, you pay $5 to see the show (on top of the $30 cover charge). If you get there before they open, bouncers hand out free VIP cards (expires at midnight - on the dot). The lines might be intimidating (one for girls, the other for couples and guys) but don't be. It may seem long but it moves fast. Overall, Pure is pure disappointment. Go to Tao at the Venetian.

Pros: DJ/music was halfway decent

Cons: way too overcrowded, doesn't live up to the hype

THIS CLUB IS SO HYPE TO BE ONE OF THE TOP IN VEAGS AND IT IS DEF THE WORST CLUB I HAVE EVER BEEN TOO BAD SERVICE AND ITS SMALL TO CROWED NO ROOM TO DANCE..DRINK ARE BAD AND THE COST IS WAY TO MUCH!! I HAD THE WORST TIME AT THIS CLUB BE PREPARED TO WAIT IN A LINE FOR HOURS..GO TO RAIN THE CLUB IS GREAT!!!!

My wife and I got on the list by stopping by around 8pm when they were setting up- we got right in when we came back at 11pm and the general line was hours long. She got in free and I paid $30. I knew the drinks were going to be spendy and that the place would be busy so these things didn't surprise or bother me. If I had $1,000 extra I would have bougt a table, that is the way to do PURE. We left at about 1am because it was getting even more crowded but were happy to have partied there for a while. We went back to the MGM where we were staying and stopped by Tabu- LAME! We were guests and they gave me no preferential treatment at all. Don't waste your time at MGM clubs they are weak- we went to Vegas to see the beautiful people and they were at PURE.

First time in Vegas, and we went to Light and Pure. Pure was a lot better. We went to Pure on a Friday night and it was extremely packed. We went as a group of 5 guys and 4 girls. We got on the VIP on napkinnights and ngihtclubs. We were suppose to be able to get in for free, only the ladies did, but the guys still had to pay. $30 for each guy..one of my friend didn't have change for a $30 and the bouncer kept his change. We stayed at the Caesar's and we showed the bouncers our room card and got to cut the massive long line. It was extremely crowded and couldn't walk at all. Drinks were expensive, about $11-$16. Drinks were small too. I think it was $8 for beer and had to pay $6 for Vos water. Music was great.

Pros: Music, trendy place

Cons: crowded, massive lines

I attended this club on New Years Eve 05, and I will be doing it again New Years Eve 06. Had a great time, and the crowd was really nice and classy!

i'm a vegas local, and i think ssaaf's review of pure is contradictory. he says "For outside clubbing go to Tangerine... They are more organized, more welcoming, and the workers are smarter... The guys working at the VIP line are complete tools. They have no idea what they are doing..." funny thing is: the door host at pure, who is "horrible bouncer who probably didn't pass highschool checks you off and makes you wait longer (for no reason) to get in," is the same guy in charge of the door at tangerine! and he also suggests that, "Management should really change their business strategy." PURE AND TANGERINE ARE BOTH OWNED BY PURE MANAGEMENT!
