The very best happy hour on the strip!!
by damethod
This is by far the best happy hour on the strip. They feature half off of several sushi, rolls, and appetizers. Also half off of many, possibly all, of their drinks. I highly recommend the viva las vegas roll. I guarantee it's the one roll you'll see coming out of the kitchen most often.
The only cons I can find are the prices outside of happy hour for SOME of the sushi and rolls. Also, there isn't much of a sake selection.
- Pros: Great sushi, great rolls, and great prices!
- Cons: Some prices outside of happy hour, sake selection
Sushi restaurant and lounge features Asian fusion dishes and sleek, club-like decor.
by Contributor
In Short
Washed in red by overhead lamps and stained woods, the sleek décor bears a hip Asian feel. Expect an Asian fusion menu and artful sushi, including specialty rolls like the Tootsy Maki, Lone Star Roll and lotus-root-topped Viva Las Vegas. Enjoy a specialty cocktail or happy hour in the lounge.
Worst Customer Service
by Irishgirlintown
I have to admit I kind of liked sushi there, but poor customer service ruined it for us. Sushi shef was nice, but the waitress that "surved" us shocked me big time by her behaviour (and believe me, it's not easy to shock me). The only thing she managed to bring us was water as she was not anywhere to be seen for the rest of our time there. When she brought us a bill, she circled the amount and wrote tips are not included on the bill. It was a bit odd... My boyfriend put 100 USD notes in the folder and gave it back to the waitress. She walked away for a sec (to look in the folder), came back and asked if he wanted change back. That was the last straw and we decided not to ever go back to this place. It's a pitty as I really liked their "Crazy Monkey". So if you like sushi, dont mind waitresses demanding tips from you without providing any service, go ahead and try it:))))
- Pros: nice "Crazy Monkey"
- Cons: waiting personnel demanding tips
Hip Meets Fresh
by bruceallmighty
By far the best Sushi Bar "on the strip" when it comes to variety, price and quality
We have spent a lot of time on the bars up and down the strip, yet for the price you can't beat RA
Great concept and atmosphere
Definitely 5 STARS
- Pros: Ambience and Quality
- Cons: Only one location
POOR SERVICE WITH A SIDE OF HAIR
by missnguyen29
RA Sushi, food was good but the service was absolutely terrible. There was no hostess present to seat us, so we seated ourselves. Because of her negligence a customer stole some display t shirts (which was discussed rudely by our table while we were having dinner). The hostess finally came to give us menu's after another 15 minutes of waiting. Finally the order was placed. We waited another 10 minutes for the chef to finish conversating with the other sushi chef to ask for ginger and wasabi, after the sushi was served. Food was good, exept for the hair found in the dish. The music was too loud that i could even hear my friends. If you like poor customer service and hair in your food, please go to RA sushi. If not, then take my advise, which i should have from others, and do not waist your time and appetite.
- Pros: Food was good
- Cons: Hair was found in food; poor service, music was too loud

TERRIBLE SUSHI! Did I mention the sushi was terrible? The fish was NOT fresh. The rolls were tiny - we were so disappointed!

- Cons: Awful food!
