Sumptious Food . . . Beautiful Room . . . Robotic Service

Fleur de Lys clearly honors its San Francisco tradition! The room itself is incredibly beautiful, soft and romantic - an eye catcher that welcomes you the minute you enter. Reservations were honored promptly, on a busy Friday evening, and we loved the personable bar tendress we met when we arrived early and had a cocktail before being seated. Our meal itself was outstanding, with beautifully presented dishes, prepared to tasty perfection. The Jubilee of Hierloom Tomatoes burst with a variety of wonderful textures, scents and tastes and my Truffled Halibut was incredible, as were the deserts and items offered "with the compliments of the chef." Wine parings were smart and good. We did have one disappointment, however, that makes us believe it must be difficult to find good wait staff in las Vegas. The service WAS very good and the meal paced reasonably well, but so many different people showed up at our table that we actually never knew which one was our waiter. Each person described our dishes, when presented, but they never made eye contact and stood at attention robotically reciting memorized lists. We wondered if they even knew what a "reduction" meant and we actually laughed at the "this on top of this, underneath that" wording that made it sound like we were on an archeological dig. Such a fine resturaunt should have personable servers, who engage their diners. I suppose you can train the staff, as Fleur de Lys clearly does, but can not as easily teach them to have a personality. It was the only thing missing from an otherwise "5 star" experience.
- Pros: Atmosphere, Decor, Food, Cocktail Lounge & Bartender
- Cons: Robotic wait staff

Fleur de Lys is among my favorite French restaurants in Las Vegas. The room is attractive and quiet. Service is correct without being overbearing. The prix fixe menus offer ample variety. All dishes are exquisite. The duck breast and confit are worth a special mention. Chef Keller is a genius

This is a nice upscale restaurant in Vegas that is well worth reservations and a long night out. The ambiance is amazing here and the food is great as well. Service is usually pretty good as well. The real reason though to come here is for the wine selection which is far better than most upscale places in Vegas.

This is a spiffy, It opens right off the casino. It is divided into different rooms with big curtains along the edges so people can dine alone. They have a variety of preset dinners varying in the numer of courses. The wine selection is huge. An even more huge array of roses makes up a sort of living sculpture. Lots of fancy food and interesting combinations like salmon ravioli and guacamole. Together. Seriously. Foo foo food for a foo foo occasion!
Delicious food but disappointing service

The private cabana booths were not available when I requested them due to a large party going on that night. Though the restauant has a great ambiance going on inside, we were seated close to the entrance which meant that everytime that door was opened (appr. every couple minutes) we would receive a good blast of whatever music was bumping from outside, usually rock, which was a little jarring in terms of the mood and ambiance.
My bofriend and I chose different prix fixe menus: I had the veal ravioli (tasty but a bit salty), braised short ribs (yum! and very tender) and the chocolated souffle with cherry ice cream for dessert (oh so good, but rich!). My boyfriend had the tuna tartare, filet mignon in a red wine reduction, with the peaches and cream for dessert. He said that all three courses were delicious. We did not take advantage of the wine list that evening though I could tell the selection was quite extensive. Though the meal was quite good, we felt that the service was a bit lacking. The hostesses were rather snooty in receiving us and throughout the night (we noticed sidelong glances and smirks at ourselves and other diners...?!) which was totally uncalled for and the server never established any connection with us beyond taking our order and handing us the check which compared with other restaurants of the same caliber was disappointing.
- Pros: Great modern French menu
- Cons: don't get seated near the door or else loud casino music! Snooty, inifferent service

I had to book a last-minute (2 days prior) dinner for 40, and Fleur de Lys was a steller choice. The staff worked quickly to accommodate the group, and put together a fabulous meal including: an appetizer assortmant plate served with a creative flair on the plate (Seared Foie Gras Terrine, Ahi Tuna Tartare with Ginger Ponzu, Roasted Organic Beets with Goat Cheese), a main course (choice of Pan Seared Diver Scallops, Slow Braised Beef Short Ribs, or Seared Duck Breast & Duck Confit), and a dessert (chocolate "feast" or a fruit "minestrone" with basil ice cream). It was all excellently prepared and plated. I had the scallops as the main course, and they were perfectly done and served with a piece of zucchini and crab tempura).
The service was outstanding - from start to finish. The wine list is extensive and the staff helpful with choices.
A very romantice spot for a couple.
- Pros: Creative and delicious French cuisine, outstanding wine list and service - a very romantic spot
- Cons: A little on the high side, but you get what you pay for!
exceeded expectations

i am critical but honest on this site (you can read my other reviews if you don't believe me) and i would have to say that my experience at fleur de lys was one of the best i have had in a long time. ironically this reservation was an afterthought because i made reservations for emeril's and mesa grill the two nights before, but i will tell you that fleur de lys blew them both out of the water. the standout entrees for me included the kobe filet and the venison, and the pistachio souffle is well worth ordering in advance. to top it off, each appetizer, entree and desert had its own unique wine pairing that was spot on (i am picky about that as well). bravo!
- Pros: food quality, service, wine pairing...basically everything a foodie would want
- Cons: kinda pricey but worth it
Very good, but not as good as the original...

We stumbled upon the original Fleur de Lys while on a trip to San Francisco and were amazed. It was hands down the best meal we'd ever eaten. So, to our pleasant surprise, when we discovered there was a second location open in Las Vegas, where we live, we decided to dine there for our wedding anniversary. Our waiter Jack was very friendly and attentive, as was the rest of the wait staff. Most of the food was unbelievable, but not all. At the original location, every single dish was melt in your mouth delicious. At this location, some of the dishes were okay, some were exceptional...but for the cost of a dinner for two there, I expect every single dish to be amazing. We had wonderful experience, but will probably save our money for the original in San Francisco next time we are there.
- Pros: Very good wait staff, nice decor, good food
- Cons: Not as good as the orginal
Very Romantic... Great Food and Exceptional Service

I was given a gift certificate to Fleur de Lys for a wedding gift otherwise I may not have ever gone there. The restaurant was well worth the wait and the service was exceptional. We never ran out of wine and the food was a real treat to the pallet.
- Pros: Atmosphere, Service and Food
- Cons: The waiting, but well worth it.
Very nice atmosphere and great tastes!
