Don't bother.

Many years ago this was a good show to see with pirates fighting and good special effects. It was appropriate for all ages. Imagine my surprise when I brought my 12 year old neice, 12 year old daughter and 14 year old son, stood outside for ages, and then saw a show that would be more appropriately named "The Sirens of T & A." The plot: a couple of pirates get lost and end up on the Siren's boat. Other pirates come to rescue them. There is (bad) singing, gyrating, a short fight, and then the pirates give up, deciding to think with their short sword instead of fight with their long one. The lead female siren's voice can best be described as grating. Think Axle Rose in "Welcome to the Jungle" if he constantly talked like he was the announcer at a monster truck rally. The songs were ridiculous. The costumes are scanty, the dance moves are indecent, and I was horrified that I'd brought kids to something more appropriate to a Burlesque show.

• Cons: Ridiculous. Bad plot, singing, poor taste.

It's free and worth it

My husband and i went to Vegas for our honeymoon and we enjoyed the show. We went to the boardwalk to watch three times. It is for adults only. The story line is one to be understood by adults only. The girls are beautiful and the guys are built... they are nice to look at. We liked it

I would not call this a Family Show.

I don't even have children yet, but if I did I would not take them to this show. I know Vegas is deemed the "City Of Sin", but some of us go there to eat good food, see awesome (PG) shows, and to get pampered in posh hotels... please keep the flesh fest indoors, so people have a choice to be exposed to stuff like that. They should have kept the old Pirate show.

Skip it

The old show was better. Sirens of TI is so cheesey and lame, it's not even worth packing in on the street to see. I don't agree with the other review - I think it's fine for kids. It's just really dumb and painful to watch.

• Pros: It's free.
• Cons: It's boring and the crowds can be packed all the way to the street.

In Short
Packed with music, dance, excitement and sensuality, this free, 12-minute show entertains crowds of passersby and families in Sirens Cove. A band of pirates falls victim to the Sirens' mesmerizing song, but soon they break the spell and a battle ensues, complete with sword-fighting, acrobatics and pyrotechnics. The Sirens unleash their fury, defeating the renegades. But all things end happily when the Sirens pull their foes from the water and a live concert closes the show.

Amazon Women

It's nice to see an show that doesn't shy away from the physicality of women. These atypical Vegas showgirls (and guys) should have no problem with changing gender roles. . . well worth the money.

Shocked and Betrayed

I was horrified at the new pirate show at Treasue Island. I attended the original family friendly pirate show with my children. The new show is pornographic. We took our 4 small children to it and I was shocked and embarrased. The women were dancing like strippers and were dressed accordingly. My 6 year old son commented, "Ohhh, those are bad girls!" There were no signs posted saying that the new show might be inappropriate for children. They simply welcomed families and said to store strollers near the front doors because of the crowd. After the show, my friend commented to me, "I feel dirty now!" and I agreed. I heavily regret ever taking my children to Treasure Island and I will never return.

Pirates vs. Sirens

I was very disappointed with the new show "Sirens of TI". If you have seen the Pirate show you will most likely be in the same boat. I realize Vegas is mainly for adults but focusing on a womans physic was not what I expected in a free show. I also did not like the fact that they made it seem that it was a gender thing.
