We've eaten here more times than I can count. After reading another review I was surprised, too bad they got there on an unusually bad night. We've never had bad service or sub par food. I love making my own creation and true they are a more pricey than Burger King but, you get what you pay for. The dessert burgers are decadent and delicious.
Pros: Good burger
Cons: Gets crowded, uncomfortable with large groups

My friend and I were staying at the Luxor; I really wanted a hamburger, and we just happened to fall on this place since it was so close. We went at lunch time. We loved it! The service was good, we were able to watch basketball games (first weekend of march madness), and our food was great. I got the angus, he got the ridgefield beef. As a note, Kobe is now 16.50 without any toppings (as opposed to Angus which is 9.50). I added carmelized onions, avocado, and cheddar. It was outstanding. And we got the zucchini fries, which were to die for. We both plan to come back to this place. One tip if you want to watch sports: all the booths have their own individual tvs so if you are interested, request a booth. We were at a table and while we could see the tvs at the bar, it would have been even better to be at a booth.
Pros: Fun environment, tasty food
Cons: Long lines at night; lunch is shorter

More of a BAR, than a burger place. Don't waste your time unless you want food that is served in a Bar, as an after thought. This is NOT a Burger place. They sat me down & immediately wanted my drink order. They seemed very Suprised, that I wanted to order some food, also. The burger choices were not as exotic as advertized, unless you want weird stuff on your burger, like ketchup & mustard. True, they had 8 differant kinds of Cheeses, but when you spend $12 on a meal (excluding drinks) & the best part of the meal is spicy french fries - IT is NOT worth the money. It took a LONG time to get my order (45 minutes, NOT during a rush time, 9 pm) the bun was stale & the burger cold. Maybe if your DRUNK the burgers taste better? I was not interested enough to try any their desert burgers. I was very disappointed! I have had better food at Burger King.
Pros: Waitress was good looking
Cons: If you want Burgers, go to a Burger place. If you want to get WASTed, this is a good place to drink & watch sports

I had high expectations for this place.... Friends telling me great it was.... Customer reviews on this site saying how nice it was, but in the end it was the terrible,AWEFUL service I received that made it such a let down. First off do an early lunch or you will wait.... a long time. Next, don't sit at the bar on the far side. No one is dedicated to working that side. I was waited on by at least 4 different people and none of them came back to see if I need anymore help. I ordered a rootbeer float and was never afforded the opportunity to get anything else to drink. The menu is incredible and the options great.... I ordered the Kobe Beef with a little blue cheese, I wanted to keep it simple to taste the beef. Although I ordered medium-rare it was more on the rare side, not a problem for a true meat eater, but you should get what you want. It took a long time to get my food, as did others sitting on that side. 2 gentlemen sitting a couple seats down were just about to pay for thier drinks and leave. None of the waiters asked if we wanted dessert, which is just a doughnut cut in half with toppings, but it would have been nice to have the option. Lastly I had to yell at some poor guy to get his attention so I could pay my bill. No appologies from anyone and none seemed to care. Overall I would recomend going once but I would not return myself.
Pros: Great unusual burger options..... lots of different toppings and cheese to add
Cons: Service, service, service..... A little pricey for a burger

2/23/07 First off being a local to Vegas it is important to get there fast. The only way to do it is to valet to the North side off of Mandalay Bay Road. Go up the escalator and turn right. This is a very popular place so make time for a wait. My first impression was good walking in. There is a nice long bar to the left with lots of LCDs showing ESPN. There are plenty of booths and tables and the service staff were milling about carrying orders loaded with fries and onion rings. The acoustics are rather good for the amount of people dining. The environment is inviting enough for you to not want to leave. The options for picking your burger are the best I've seen. Four buns types, three primary meats, and at least 20 toppings. I went for the classic burger,$12.75, with Ridgefield farm beef, cheddar, and bacon. The burger was an inch thick and was not too juicy or too dry. It was cooked perfectly to order, medium well, so that it was just pink in the middle. This burger I'd like to dub the Goldilock's because 'It was just right'. The fries were very bountiful - at least two large orders at most other places. You can substitute sweet potato fries or onion rings since they sell on the side for $2.55. Service was great and served by a hottie. What more could you ask for except her phone number. Guys - this is the best overall burger I've been to in Las Vegas. It is not the best burger I've had, but when taking into account the options, the quality, atmosphere, and service - it is the model for how a burger place should be run.
Pros: hamburger, atmosphere
Cons: wait

We always go to Buger Bar for a great burger and drinks before a long night at the clubs. I highly recommend any of the burgers (angus, kobe and even the turkey which is suprisingly moist and delicious). The bartender we had last weekend was one of the best we had all weekend. A great buy in a city filled with over-rated restraurants owned by marginally talented big-name celebrity chefs.
Pros: Great Food, Simple Delicious Flavors, Good Value, Great Service

We spent a week in Vegas during New Year's Eve 2006 and was fortunate to find Burger Bar the 2nd day there. We ate there 3 times during our stay. The burgers are awesome - you have sooo many options on buns & toppings. The Zuccini Fries and Sweet Potato Fries are incredible!! We will definately be going back on our next visit! With TV's in every booth, we were able to watch football games while enjoying our meals. It was such a fun experience. Service was outstanding as well!! Our entire group loved it and will recommend it to everyone!!
Pros: Fast & Friendly Service, Best Burger I've ever had!
Cons: Sometimes crowded - but well worth the wait!!!

Burger Bar is a refreshing break from the expensive, rather pretentious meals to be found in Vegas. I went there for dinner with a big group of people and the diner-style surroundings and inventive burgers were great! I highly recommend the Kobe beef burger and the chocolate burger dessert!
Pros: Cheap, laid-back, great for groups
Cons: Burgers were slightly over-rated

I've been to this burger place at least once a year during my annual PPAI Convention at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center. This is a quality place for a filling meal, be it breakfast, lunch or dinner. The counter is very comfortable, the service is efficient, and the burgers are outstanding, and filling. I have had a different combo burger on every trip, so I can't vouch for the rest of the menu. But the food was first rate, the buns and accompaniments were delicious and well prepared, and the prices, for Las Vegas, esp. considering that you are dining in a super upscale shopping mall that is located between a huge casino and a convention center ... are reasonable.
Pros: Clean, well lit, TVs at the bar if you're dining alone, and tall soft drinks ...
Cons: A little noisy, always crowded, and a bit pricey for a burger ... but good value for the money.

Came here with my coworkers while we were at a convention at Mandalay. I was skeptical at first considering I'm a vegetarian, but I work with all guys and they were sold on eating here. They had a pretty wide variety of choices, and they had more than 3 vegetarian choices, which I found somewhat surprising. You customize your burger - choose the meat, bread, then the toppings. Toppings are what make the burger - everything from avacado, truffles, the basics, to foie gras and some other wierd things. Ordered a side of sweet potato fries too, which were delicious. Dessert burgers were amazing, too! Very pricey though.
Pros: Delicious, even for a vegetarian!
Cons: Pricey for a burger
