I do NOT understand why people like this place. We followed our waiter's suggestion and ordered entrees for 2 (ie a plate of various raw meats marinated in random sauces) and cooked it in the "Mojo" broth. Disgusting! There are way too many contradicting flavors involved-- try to imagine teriyaki-marinated beef cooked in the Caribbean-inspired citrusy "Mojo" broth, and then you can dip it in one of the 7 sauces, which includes blue cheese and sweet and sour sauces? What the heck?? Our highly recommended artichoke and spinach cheese fondue had tons of raw garlic in it, and our salad was drenched in vinegar. And to top it off, for the two of us, we paid $100! That much money for funky flavored boiled meat. No thanks.

This isn't a bad place, it just wasn't as good as everyone makes it out to be. The fondue experience is unique... but that's as far as the great experience goes. Maybe it was the over-hyped expectations I had, but the food was merely mediocre. The salad was extremely generic, the cheese fondue was fine... but the most disapointing thing was the entree. We had a sampler of shrimp, chicken, steak... it was just...ok. If they didn't have a myriad of sauces of dip the meats into, it would have been even worse. If you have a hankering for fondue, this is the place... since there really aren't any others. That said, it's fun and unique... but the food is the weak link here. Enjoy it with a group for the fun, not the food.

Pros: unique dining experience

Cons: food

I had a great time here! My husband must have told them we were celebrating my promotion at work because the hostess congratulated me when I was checking us in. When she took us to our table there were balloons and a card as well. He had to pay for them but I thought it was great! The best part was the balloons were tied to one of the chocolate bars as the weight and it was all mine! This is all before we even met our server ( I wish i could remember her name) Our server explained everything and offered suggestions which we took her up on. Everything she suggested was right on from the bottle of wine all the way to the most delicious chocolate I have ever had! I will return again for sure.

Pros: the service was the best I have had in Las Vegas!

Cons: plan ahead and make reservations

When I say romantic, I should say that the tables are very private, the lighting is toned down, the music is just the right volume, the wine list is one of the best I have seen for a non-strip restaurant, and the service is excellent. It is a very unique restaurant. If you do the Big Night Out (which I highly recommend) you start off with your choice of cheese fondue (I recommend the Wisconsin Trio if you like blue cheese) and then your choice of salad (California, all the way) and you choose an entree which comes with a little shrimp, chicken, steak, lobster, fresh fish, etc...(choices vary seasonally) and then the dessert fondue (PHENOMINAL!). I don't think I would go there on a blind date because the dinner usually lasts between 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 hours so you have to be in good company. Although the chocolate course is the best part, I recommend doing the whole thing. I have read some reviews that it is somewhat expensive, but I don't know of ANY other restaurants in this city that serve a four course dinner that comes with center cut filet mignon and lobster (if you so choose) among other things and averages about $40 a person. I'd say that is a pretty good deal. If you don't want to go to a romantic restaurant, and you think $40 for four courses of food is too expensive, then there is an Applebee’s nearby and you can get your riblet basket and listen to screaming children. I hope this is helpful to anyone who chooses this restaurant.

Pros: Great wine list, phenominal desserts, not too pricey, very romantic, great staff,

Cons: Make reservations far in advance (especially New Year's, Valentines Day)

Food was GREAT!!! I was a little disappointed at the Main Course when you boil your own meat, but the Cheese Fondue and your choice of different ways you can have Chocolate Desserts are a MUST HAVE. Yes the courses are a bit pricey, but it is only worth it for the First and Last Course.

Pros: Great CHEESE Course and DESSERT Course

Cons: Very Expensive

My boyfriend took me to the MeltinPot for Valentines and considering the fact that I am very picky with the restaurants we visit, I fell in love with this place it was more than i expected! I love to dine and with my family we have made it a habit to try a different restaurant every weekend. I know we have fabulous restaurants that would out do the MeltingPot but being a Vegas native you dont always want to go on the strip to have a decent dinner! This place is fun, romantic and the portions are perfect! The servers know the menu like the back of their hand! They have a 4 course meal, great dessert, fantastic customer service, detail oriented and so what if it's a little pricey the experiece is not your typical restaurant! You cook your own food to your own preference and you have fun! Valet is available and I highly recommend getting reservations! Enjoy!

Delicious food but a bit on the pricier side! Definately make reservations before you go! Very cheesy so if you don't like cheese i don't recommend it!

Pros: ambience, food

Cons: pricey

This place is good for an appatizer or for dessert. I do not find cooking your own expensive dinner my idea of going to dinner.

Pros: Good dessert

Cons: Expensive dinner

I can't believe that with all the real special places to dine in Vegas this formula chain would end up so highly rated.. are they kidding? I smell something rotten, and it's not the lack luster food boiled in your little pot. To be honest, I didn't hate it, but it would be about the 150th restaurant worth going to in a City with such great dinning.

Pros: none
