Excellent

I really enjoyed the sushi here and the atmosphere was cool. My friend didn't enjoy his food as much, but he's not a fan of sushi in general. Test_test_test
- Pros: The food
- Cons: none
Great Name - Not-so-great food
by dlstew81 at Citysearch
For anyone who has ever been to Japan please do not go here. The atmosphere is completely fake with all of the waitresses wearing silk robes that I assume are supposed to be similar to a ukata or a kimono. The service was awful. Apparently our server was having a bad day and she didn't want anyone to know about it except for everyone who was in the resteraunt. It was extremely loud with dishes and plates clanking everywhere. I felt like I was in a Chilis or the Outback Steakhouse but that was not where I wanted to go. i wanted to sit down and have a nice Japanese meal. Oh, I almost forgot. If you like authentic Japanese food do not trapse through the doors of this establishment. It is American-Japanese sushi with all of those bizzare "rolls" and other dishes to include Korean, Chinese, and even some from Southeast Asia. Not good, not friendly, and not worth your time.
- Pros: name and location
- Cons: Food, service, atmosphere
REAL HONEST REVIEW ALL BULLs$#@ ASIDE!!!
by mixologsitc9 at Citysearch
Im 22yrs old - ive eaten at an array of sushi joints in town, and as much as I wanted to find a better place than I LOVE SUSHI, i could not succeed. The sushi is fresh and the combinations are unique - you may also create your own sushi rolls by requesting your recipe to the "chefs". The 1 star reviews are fake and most likely made by a desperate competitor who's sushi is apparently far insuperior. Nice enviroment, friendly staff, small communication barrier. Should be a great experience if your not a moron!! for the people w/ complaints you were most likely the issue, being in the hospitality industry, and as we all know, some people lack common knowledge, yes even you rich fools that think your the s%#*. back to the sushi: TRY IT OUT -- about $5-$13 per roll.
im not into fish eggs so I cannot comment on the quality of that. im headed to I LOVE SUSHI (SERIOUSLY)
note: i have not tried sushi restaraunts on the strip
- Pros: They start u out w/ a cucumber salad
- Cons: possible wait time due to how good the place is
Want really bad service?
by MummaButterfly at Citysearch
Went for lunch. My second time there. Waited 25 minutes for one roll. Waitress said there was a miscommunication between her & the chef. Asked to have some food boxed up. Waitress took the plate & never came back with the box of left overs. She said she threw it away. Manager said the best they could do is $2.00 off the bill. Oh, and I overheard the next booth complaining & wanting to see the manager.
Never again Momo!!!!!!
- Cons: Worst service ever!

Good food and ambience

I really enjoyed the food. I like the ambience as well. My hubby didn't enjoy his food as much but he had grilled chicken and veggies.
No Zatoichi here
by zednotzee at Citysearch
I am sure the Itamae spent many years training in Japan, though unfortunately his training must have been for some other profession, a blind masseur perhaps? Zatoichi would have shown more finesse cutting fish with a katana.
The tepan shrimp was so salty our mouths burned. The beef in the niku udon, though thinly sliced, was so tough we wondered if the itamae had lost his shoe in the battle with the salmon. The salmon was definitely dead though, nothing could endure that many knife wounds and live.
After some searching we found the rice hidden under the huge slabs of butchered fish. It too was dead, mummified even. The tuna seemed more alive... though not in a good way.
What made the whole experience worse, other than the fact that we had been craving sushi, was that the management?s response - after we sent back the shrimp and explained that the rest of the meal was very poor - was not an apology but rather a question: Why didn?t you complain sooner? The truth is that this was probably the first time I have ever felt compelled to return a dish and I am not entirely sure of the etiquette. When the waitress asked how everything else was I felt obliged to tell all. It was such a relief to let it all out!
They didn?t charge us for the tepan shrimp or the leather in the udon. We left in search of quality sushi to drown our sorrows.
Avoid at all costs.

we eat there a lot..i have never had a bad experience there.. i am not sure about waitresses , i always sit at the bar and try to only order from Jack.. he will remember you! and alway will make you happy. we rarely pay for drinks and get offered free orange desert at the end! not expensive at all.. my fovorite things there is Screaming , Japanese pizza, or Tastes like my exgirlriend. i love the funny names.. anyways , one time we came in i was having a severe panic attack Jack asked me if i was ok. then kept making jokes untill i felt better.. got me my food right away.. oh yeag , the food is sooooooooo fast!!
anyways, my favorite sushi place anywhere!!
- Pros: everything! i dream about this place!!
- Cons: kinda far form strip
Horrible, Disgusting & Bad Service
by charberry at Citysearch
I ordered on the phone. but cancelled at last minute, and the lady on the phone grunted in disgust.
I had an emergency. So after my emergency, 2 hours laster. I went to I love sushi and ordered.
a young girl took my order, i tried to explain what i wanted, i waited 20 minutes, then asked if my food was ready and within minutes she handed it to me. so i was being ignored for who knows how long.
Anyways, my order was wrong. They put about 1 lb of imitation grab on my order and it cost me 20 bucks.
My order was basically rice and fake crab and fried shrimp. What i got was basically the same thing you can make yourself. Anyways, it made me sick. I do not recommend this place to anyone, Stay away.
You really get what you pay for. BTW, i heard people saying inside this was the best in town?
To my knowledge the best in town was "Sushi-Mon" but that is no more because the owner sold it.
But i eat at Inaka. It's all you can eat and they would never ever give their customers 1lb of fake imitation grab all over their sushi.
- Pros: none
- Cons: Service, Snobby & Rude, Disgusting Food, Made me sick, Not fresh
Horrible food - made us sick
by sprinklesmn at Citysearch
I've eaten at I Love Sushi 2 times. Gross both times. A person in our party got sick after we ate there. Food doesn't taste fresh. I would never go there again. I recommend going to Sushi Wa.
- Pros: horrible food - made us sick after eating it.
