I've attended the PSI basic and the ensuing two seminars, and am currently in the middle of the final one (kind of a 90-day "take-home" seminar). PSI is like just about anything else - you get out of it what you put into it. For me, I got some incredibly powerful insights into how I function, as well as some great tools for working with the rest of you characters. It's helped me move past some hugely counter-productive things going on in my life, giving me tools for improving my life AND for bettering the lives of the people around me. I've already seen concrete results in this regard, emotionally, financially, physically and spiritually. The reason I didn't give the program five stars is because I don't like the way it's marketed. Luckily, I was forewarned that there was going to be a sales pitch on the last day of the Basic seminar, so I wasn't taken off guard. I absolutely HATE being sold, always have, and there was, indeed, a serious sales pitch. That said, I have encouraged a few of my friends to take the Basic seminar because I wanted them to have the opportunities to shift their lives into hyperdrive that I've enjoyed. I have absolutely no problem with the folks who've said no, because I said no myself at first. I'm not going to hound them about it, nor even ask them again. If they're interested they'll ask - I'm not going anywhere. My sweetie did take the Basic seminar in Vegas a couple of weeks ago, and the difference it has made in our relationship has been profound. Most of the stuff they teach in the Basic has been around for a long time. PSI is just particularly good at juxtaposing lecture with exercises to help really drive home what they're talking about. In that way it's more effective (IMHO) than just reading books or attending a traditional lecture. Bottom line - choose your own experience. I took what worked for me, left the rest of it lie, and had an incredible weekend.

Pros: Effective presentation of great material

Cons: Sales pitch
