Founded in Oregon circa 1953, this simply-furnished spot owes its success to its creative menu and fresh ingredients. Batters are made on the premises; a special "sourdough starter" keeps treats from tasting overly sweet. Patrons choose from eggs, waffles, crepes and oven-baked omelets, as well as signature plates like blueberry pancakes (served with or without compote), giant cinnamon-glazed apple pancakes, thin and chewy "49-ers" and the air-filled, lemon-and-sugar-topped "Dutch Baby."

OK Park on the TOP floor of the parking garage on the north side of the casino, walk straight through the doors there, then stay toward the right wall and you will find a superior Pancake house. I was first introduced to the "Original" over 35 years ago back in Illinois. This place is no different then any "Original" I've been to other then its in a casino. Super consistent around the country. The Apple Pancake is well worth the "extra" wait that you are warned about on the menu and their coffee makes it all worth while. My friend orders the Dutch Baby and it is a treat. For the kids (and many years ago) I order the Silver Dollar pancakes. Yes the Omelettes are as big as the plate and super fluffy.

• Cons: Can have long lines (that means its great)

BIG FLUFFY OMLETS!!

very nice breakfast spot! big fluffy eggs, big fluffy pancakes, quik service , good coffee, the servings are HUGE, the omlet took up the whole plate!! i think they must bake there omlets because i have never had sutch a fluffy light and airy egg dish in my life , great value!

They do some things really well

I always love going here and getting their crepes. I order the 3 large crepes for $5.95., a gold star iwinner. They make them a little thicker than usual and they are a nice consistancy to the bite. If you prefer a dry and thin crepe try the Bellagio. Now a big surprise was the burger. It was excellent. All the things I look for were there, A+.

Service is a bit slow and the fries are not great. Stay away from the sandwiches. They are not a deli. The operation also seems to nickle and dime the patrons. they only accept cash for coupons and a plate sharing fee is assessed.
