Great food, great service!
by kdforner at Citysearch
My husband and I have been going to Flemings for 5 years on a regular basis and have never been disappointed! The food and service is consistently very good. Las Vegas has many very good eating establishments, but Flemings is still our favorite.
- Pros: Location, food, and service
- Cons: None
Prime beef, a comfortable atmosphere and an extensive, user-friendly wine list are the signatures of this upscale steakhouse.

In Short
With a decor of dark wood, leather upholstery and soft lighting, this clubby steakhouse has a warm, upscale feel. The menu's focus is prime beef (aged up to four weeks), from bone-in rib eye and filet mignon to New York strip drizzled with bearnaise sauce. Classic seafood offerings include lobster tails, steamed crab legs and wild Alaskan salmon; sides, served a la carte, include baked potato and chipotle mac and cheese.
DUMP #1 STEAKHOUSE - FLEMINGS
by depuck at Citysearch
Should have known it was bad when they ask if you want tap or bottled water.......... this is a number #1 steakhouse in Vegas? Toooo many servers, one took order , one brought appetizer, one brought salad( way over priced for iceburg) Ordered wine and it came with some kind of crystals in the bottom of the glass, the server said it was sugar from the bottle............ hmmmmm been to a lot of wineries and never experienced that. The steaks were served before the side dishes, all is al a carte and way too pricey for the quality. A suit came over to ask if we liked it and we said it was OK, HE PROCEEDED TO WANT A REVIEW, in the middle of dinner. Frankly save your money on this one, it is not worth the effort. I have had better food at a neighborhood bar, I saw good reviews but must have been before they did the latest management change, we visited in July 2007. It was a total disappointment, go to Rosemarys instead, it never disappoints and is Zagat rated for the same price.
- Pros: never again
- Cons: won't be aggravated again
Consistent service and food

I've been to Flemings many times and the service and the food are consistently good. We have gone for drinks and appetizers at the bar and for full meals in the restaurant and have never been disappointed. They have water choices (still, tap, or sparkling) which I appreciate and they (usually) notice what you're wearing and give you a dark napkin when appropriate since they have white linen tablecloths. I could see getting dressed up to go here, but we never do. Parking can be a pain because they have valet, yet don't need it any more than Applebees would need valet. Better food than Ruth's Chris and comparable pricing.
- Pros: romantic, classy touches, food
- Cons: valet takes up all the parking spots in the front
Hands down, Best Steak in Vegas
by reeecheee at Citysearch
I read a review about Flemings that said the steak was turned and burned and the server was no good. 1st of all as soon as the server greets you they ask you if you have ever been, if you havent they explain the menu etc.... After that they tell you about all the specials, and take your drink order. They are very informative, service is great and the steak is the absolutely the best in town. All of the sides are awsome searvice is awsome, main corses are awsome. 5 out of 5 stars in my opinion
- Pros: Great food and service
- Cons: Sometimes loud
Great Local Steakhouse
by chauncerel at Citysearch
Great steaks and wine selection. Comfortable and casual atmosphere. If you don't feel like going to the strip for a good steak, this is a great alternative. Beats several of the pricier steakhouses in town. Very good.
- Pros: neighborhood vibe
- Cons: none
Best steakhouse in Vegas

Fleming's is the best steakhouse in Vegas. I've been there three times for special occassions and the service has been awesome, as well as the food. The steaks are the best I've ever had, nothing has yet compared to this place. If you want a great place to take your date, or even your family for a special occassion, Flemings is the place
- Pros: ambience, service, quality
- Cons: parking (although there is valet service)

Not up to par

My date and I were looking for a great steak and decided to try Fleming's. On a busy Friday evening, we were seated immediately. The room is very well decorated and comfortable. After anwering our waiters quetion of us being first time visitors I was expecting a review of the menu, or possibly even some suggestions - we got nothing. The white wine was served in red wine glasses and courses of the meal were 'turned & burned'. The Ceasar salad was mediocre, the filet was extremely fatty, but cooked perfectly. Dessert was excellent. Pricing was a bit high considering the service. The waiters do not wear name tags, nor do they ever take the time to introduce themselves.
- Pros: No Rsrvtions Needed, Decor
- Cons: Poor Service, Poor Service, Poor Service
