Fun place to go with a big group

Yeah the ambiance is kind of cheesy, but the food is GOOD! A fun place to go that's away from the strip when you're in Vegas. The drinks and food are in large portions, I recommend the Seafodd Paella, and save room for desert.
- Pros: good variety of food, large portions
- Cons: shared parking lot-gets crowded
overhyped eatery with few decent inputs

I visited this eatery late March 2008. I was succumbed by the hype about this interesting restaurant.
I was disappointed to find out the dining system and structure resembled so many typical lower class American restaurant chains like Applebee's and alike.
The food was quite exotic by menu and decided to order an appetizer, main course and dessert.
I was overwhelmed by the quantity of the food, especially with their coconut breaded onionrings that could feed up an entire family. Unfortunately, the taste was not very special and it tasted more bread crumbs and soggy onion. The maincourse was decent but lacked the spices it promised in the menu, a sirloin kebab with various spices did not live up to is reputation. The banana bread in butterscotch, with ice cream and fresh bananas, was the only reason it was an average dining experience. eventhough the bananabread slices were pretty dry and boring, the other dessert compliments surrounding the cake were uplifting.
An overall ok restaurant but overrated by other reviewers and it lacked any really authentic caribbean experience and cuisine.
- Pros: amuzing interior
- Cons: overall food experience

We've been here several times and the drinks are refreshing and attractive. It is a fun place and the food is good. The chicken wings are large and well seasoned and the chicken flatbread is tasty and great for a meal or an appetizer for 2-4 people. The fish entrees we've had (almond crusted tilapia or salmon) have been fresh and cooked to perfection and are a good meal. Have also had the chicken tortilla soup and would recommend it as a flavorful chock full of goodies treat. Only thing I haven't liked was the rice as it was rather bland.
- Pros: Atmosphere and service
- Cons: Rice was bland

Artful presentations of Caribbean cuisine and signature cocktails in a tropical atmosphere. Live music Fridays and Saturdays from 4:30pm to close.

On the plus side the atmosphere is fun, staff super friendly, cocktails are good too. The food....decent, not great. The usual watered down for American pallets "ethnic" McEatery. If you have been to the Bahamas or Jamacia.....and then come here...you'll know what I mean. Don't bother with jerked anything here.
- Pros: Atmosphere, service, drinks.
- Cons: food average
great drinks

The server was very attentive. Loved the atmosphere. Clean, big bathrooms. The food was good. The drinks were kind of expensive but very good and I would say they were worth it. I forgot my jacket there and when I called they had it ready for me when I went to pick it up. I would definitley reccomend this place.

Party night out or family dinner, accommodates all groups. Call-ahead allows you to put name on waiting list from home so when you show up your table is just about ready.
Caribbean favorites, wonderfully seasoned. Have liked everything so far but the pork chops, they just werent as tasty. Wonderful habanero wings - slightly sweet, not as spicy as expected, but decent kick. Prices are very reasonable; $6-20 entrees and some you can order in a regular full plate or a lighter portion for a few dollars less. Mediocre kids meal (great prices, decent size, not much selection).
Good drink selection with something for everyone, good import beers and house beer, Aruba red, is really good smooth light amber.
One trip was during busy time and waiter was frazzled and forgetful, Next time was during shift change but were accommodating, helpful and friendly without being too intrusive
- Pros: Tasty food, Inexpensive, Good parking

I heard about this place on Food Network and had to see what all the fuss was all about. They recommended the seafood paella and they were right to do so. It was really, really good. Serving portion was more than satisfying and the service was excellent. Try the lemon breeze [their version of lemonade] too as well as the Trinidad chicken curry thing. Theyre always at the top of my list.

Tropical decor in a laid-back casual atmosphere. Coconut onion rings with citrus mustard dipping sauce - one-of-a-kind delicious; Fire-roasted jerk shrimp - yummy. Jamaican grilled chicken wings with dipping sauces - hot & filling. Large portions great for sharing with your date. Lemonade - sweet & plentiful, island drinks - mixed well. Service was good. Will have to check out the entertainment on a Friday or Saturday night next visit.
- Pros: great appetiziers, easy parking, large portions
- Cons: entree selection, a little pricey, outside facelift
