My wife and I went to the Canyon ranch while staying a few days at the Venetian. Excellent Hotel and great pool area but we were less than impressed with the Canyon Ranch despite the anticipation and hype. We wer etold it was the best anywhere and so does citysearch but we found it avreage at best. We get massages fairly regularly and I have learned to be very specific about what massage I want and the points to focus on. the massage I received was about as focused as the free poolside massage I received in Cabo. The staff in the men's locker room acted as though I was interrupting their opportunity to do nothing when I asked questions or made requests. There were continuous noises outside the massage room, construction I guessed that made it difficult to relax during the treatment. Overall, I think for the price they could have done a lot better. I am looking forward to trying the Spa Mandalay next.
Pros: Common areas
Cons: staff

A week into my almost 2 week business trip to Las Vegas, I was very much looking forward to my spa day. I had an aromatherapy massage and a facial. The facial was excellent and easily the best part of my experience at Canyon Ranch. The massage was okay- not bad but nothing to write home about either. The thing that I was most disappointed about was the public areas ,especially the pool area which was very small and had no lounge chairs. Relaxing by the pool after my treatments, alternately reading and napping, is usually my favorite part of the spa experience. I guess that I expected more from the Canyon Ranch name. Next year I will go back to Mandalay Bay, which I very much preferred.
Pros: The facial was the best I've ever had.
Cons: Parking!! The Venetian is the worst casino on the Strip when it comes to parking. Always too crowded anytime of day or night.

I've been to Canyon a couple times now. I've enjoyed their great fitness classes, outstanding spa, and signature "hot rock" massage therapy. However, the last time I visited the spa, the front desk staff lost my appointments. They actually scheduled my services for the wrong day, so my sister and I were forced to take appointments at different times. I was also told that only a male therapist was available even though I requested a female. My therapist, Noa, actually ended up being a woman, not to mention the best massuese I have ever had. So, I guess I'll thank the front desk for their numerous mistakes, which resulted in the best massage I've ever had.
Pros: Massages, Fitness Classes
Cons: Incompetent Front Desk

Me and my wife have lived in vegas for a while. so we decided to try canyon ranch out after hearing so many good things. I will agree with some of the other reviews the loung is not very relaxing. and the locker room seem to small for such a large place. Now i must say i love the services. I had my first reflexology by a guy named Glen. I can tell you i'm addicted now, my feet have never felt so good. He also did my wife's massage when we did the couples massage. She loved it. and my therapist Dawn was awsome. If you can get past the locker rooms you will love the services.
Pros: Glen, Dawn, reflexology
Cons: price, small loung

I figured Canyon Ranch in Vegas would be phenomenal considering the reputation of its main resort (in Arizona????), but I was sorely disappointed when I arrived. I think calling this place a spa is completely misleading. I think "gym with spa services" might be more accurate. The dressing area is a gym locker room - loud with flourescent lighting and not soothing at all. Same goes for the sauna/hot pool area - very small/cramped with bad, bright lighting. The waiting area for spa appointments resembled a doctor's office waiting area. I was not relaxed before my treatments like I would typically expect at a spa.

I was in town for a conference in October and I had a day off and decided to spend it at the spa in the Venetian. I had 2 treatments and I felt so relaxed when it was over. The facility was beautiful and the girls in the locker room were very attentive and constantly asking if I needed anything. The services are a bit on the high side, but worth every penny. I would recommend this spa to absolutely everyone!!!

I stayed at the Venetian to attend work meetings and decided to check out the spa and get a massage. It was the best massage I have ever had. I know that sounds crazy but it really was. After my massage I went back to my room and fell sound asleep. I worked out the other days I was there and got to use the jacuzzi and steam room. I would definately recommend this spa to anyone going to Las Vegas and especially if you are staying at the hotel.

I went to the Canyon Ranch for my five year anniversary and had the couples package. It was wonderful. The Rasul service was amazing and the massages were great too. My wife and I got to workout and have a meal in the cafe. The portions were small, but the food is excellent. My wife and I will definately be back.
Pros: Rasul, Cafe, Fitness
Cons: Price

my husband and i stayed at the venetian 9/2004 and decided to get the couples treatment. the waiting room was average looking but was very large. i was very disapponted with the wet room (sauna/steam/pool). it was gross. worst quality than the gym i go to. and tiney! i hope they decide to expand and renovate. i was scared to take my slippers off! and there was a lady standing there watching the place while i was trying to relax. it ruined my mood. well, the massage was nice. but i do not reccommend going here until the wet room/sitting area is renovated.

As one of the older spas on the strip this one is the best! It is exciting to know that they are planning an expansion and a total rennovation. Love the service and the selection of services available is the largest I know of.
Pros: services, great cafe
Cons: parking
