A BLAST!!

I went just recently for my 21st birthday and I had a great time! The line wasn't too long, the staff were very friendly and the music was hot!! Lots of dancing room and you don't have to pay to sit down! Of course, there is a VIP section, but just a couple of footsteps up you can have a table and a seat for free... ;) For a no-hassle, no-snob, fun, and peaceful night, I definitely recommend this place.

• Pros: Service, Music, Price
• Cons: Closing time is @ 2am

For the price, I guess it's worth it.

We went on a Friday night, at around 1 am, and the club was still crackin'. It's a pretty big space, so there was ample room to dance. The music was lame though. Once the DJ started playing something everyone wanted to dance to, 15 seconds into the song he'd mix it into some old b.s. no one wanted to dance to. It sucked. We were there for about 3 hours, and in that 3 hours there was maybe a total of 45 minutes worth of songs people wanted to hear and could do something to.

Another issue I had was the dancefloor itself. All of our shoes were sticking to it, so much so that one of my friends lost a shoe while trying to dance. I don't know what it was, and I don't want to know. Overall, and good place to go if you're in a rush to find somewhere inexpensive to dance.

• Pros: Large dance floor, places to sit w/o having to pay.
• Cons: Lame DJs, lame music, sticky floor.

Located after hours in the main showroom, Club Rio was the first attempt by a hotel-casino to create a true nightclub in Vegas. They started by creating a little European discotheque ambience and enforcing a strict dress code. Club Rio marked Thursdays as Latin La-Beat-Oh nights (get it?), featuring salsa-style grooves. Weekends offer House, Techno and Rave music by resident DJs. The music leans heavily on disco, and attracts many tourists and older clubgoers.

Not a snooty club

we went here after getting tired of the wait times

for the supposedly happening clubs. Went around 12 on a Sat night and went right in for $20. They played regular Top 40 songs.

The dance floor is large and helps the ladies feel secure from the roving

romeos. The club dancers were hot and stripped down to boy shorts and

bras as they dance around.

The club doesnt have a restroom. You have to use the casino restroom.

They stamp your hand. So you can enter through another door. We went

to the Voodoo lounge on the 50th floor, enjoyed the view, listened to

some live music and went back to Club Rio for more dancing.

If you are looking for a simple, no-attitude club you can go to

Club Rio.

• Pros: Easy to get in, Nice music
• Cons: Bad for single guys, Decor can improve

This club was like an average club in Hollywood. It had a mix of latin music with old school hip hop. I found the place quite small and the professional dancers weren't that great to look at. Expensive drinks like any club you go to. No cover for ladies here. Every Friday a video crew tapes inside this club for Thump Records TV. So if you don't want your face or body on tv...don't attend.
