I bought front of the line passes and open bar tickets to the Voodoo Lounge for $100.00/ person from Vegas dot com . It says that you get premium alcohol like Sky Vodka, Jack Daniels, and Crown Royal, but you dont. You get cheap $10 b.s.! There is no seating, unless you are VIP which cost $400 and up. The inside is really small and out side is nice, but when it 110 degress thats not very fun. The music was good but the bartenders were not very nice. Like everything else I experienced in Vegas, the Voodoo lounge is only fun if you are wealthy and can afford to spend and loose $1,000 a night. So if you have that kind of money go for it. If not, your better off buying your own bottle and walking about with it.
Pros: Great View
Cons: No seating, rude bartenders and false advertisement

Don't be fooled if there is a line to get in. It's not that the place is popular, it's just tiny! Most of the space is taken up by people waiting in line at the bar for drinks. The "dance floor" is any space you can find that doesn't have someone standing on it. The VIP room takes up half the space, when we were there it was completely empty (while the rest of the bar was crowded). The view was nice, but everything else was less than impressive. We didn't even bother waiting in line for drinks, we just went downstairs and played slots and got drinks for free. If you want the real Vegas nightclub experience, might as well just go to Pure.
Pros: The view
Cons: Everything else

threw my 30th bday here. invited 50 friends to join me from LA and beyond. considered getting a VIP table but decided against. way to pricey for that many. plus, i figured we wouldn't be sitting at a table for too long anyway. i was right. had dinner first for about 15 at the cafe. had everyone meet up about 10p. i requested the management for a guest list and they were pretty cool to oblige. had to get everyone in though by midnite, but, that was expected. no covers for all my guests, guys and girls. quite surprised they were so accomodating. partied the nite away. the views from the top are AWESOME! it got crazy crowded later on. the Baker to Vegas Run was the same weekend. drinks are mad $$$ but, hey, it's vegas and i only turn 30 once! the crowd is a little less pretentious than the other clubs on the strip. also slightly more mature. well, as mature as you can be with all the alcohol flowing.
Pros: views, relatively accomodating staff, 2 outdoor floors
Cons: $$$ drinks

It took several e-mails to get a reservation for Halloween night. I asked for, and supposedly got, for $420, admission and an outside table for 3 with set ups and service from 9pm to closing. When i arrived, they stuck me up a step, at a 2-person table, inside, next to a wall (no view) and directly across the tiny dancefloor from very loud music. I complained and was told there were no outside tables available (even though most outside were empty). He said if I would wait till midnight (2+ hours) maybe he could find a cancellation [in other words I think he was hinting if I gave him a big enough tip he might find a table]. To me that is bait and switch. A real rip off. And then, when I gave up and left, they couldnt even fine a bag for me to put the $420 bottle of vodka in. If you are a young single person or couple it is ok, if you are older, forget it, unless you want to throw away your money.
Pros: cachet
Cons: way too expensive

Its a fun bar, cant really hear the music outside so you have to stay inside to dance. The outside though is really interesting and pretty bc you can see the whole strip and the lights. good place to meet and see people. Fun overall.

Go early or get a pass online from their website, admission is waaaay overpriced. We came for the view on a Thursday night for a few drinks (bartender made perfect greygoose and redbull), just absolutely beautiful to be able to see the vegas strip from one end to the other. Can't believe how big Vegas has gotten as a city. If you do come early, be warned that there might be older clienteles who are hanging out after dinner (restaurant is right downstairs) catching the view for awhile. Even on a Thursday, club scene was starting when we left around 11:30. Outdoor viewing area is a lot better than the one at the Ghostbar at the Palms, bigger and more spacious.
Pros: View of the City, Strong drinks, friendly bartender
Cons: Pricey drinks, VIP seating only outside

The Grand Daddy of them all. Best veiw of Vegas at night. Great crowd, dancing inside or on the 52'd floor patio. Glass enclosed elevator that rides on the outside of the building takes you to the club. Pricey but worth the experince

the views are stunning!!! has to be the best place in vegas to see the city lights!! a really mixed crowd also, young people, old people, working girls, they where all here in a very relaxed setting, you dont see such a cross of people in the same club often, flair bartenders who make creative drinks, fun to watch as some of the bartenders try tricks that they cant do yet!(you hear the bottles smash as they fall to the floor)but it is fun and the dancing girls keep the action going.they do close early on the weekdays 3:00 am.so on a tuesday night we had to find another place to keep the party going.
Pros: mixed crowd
Cons: $$$$$ closed at 3:00 am

The view is spectacular, and there are couches around so you can watch all the lights come up on the strip if you get there around sunset. Love this place, can't wait to go back next Vegas trip.

This is a great place to start the night. Definitely go before 8/8:30 to avoid paying the cover. Then try one of their specialty drinks. My favorite is the Witch Doctor, an enourmous rum & juice drink, big enough for two... maybe even more. I like the view here even better than at the Ghostbar. Not a great place for dancing, but worth a trip.
Pros: Signature drinks, Best view
Cons: $$$
