If you're spending a night or two in downtown Las Vegas, this old school hotel is perfectly located, with the casino opening right onto upper Fremont Street. No resort fee (but you will have to pay for internet), rooms in the $40s-$50s (get the Rush or Spa tower for upgraded decor), and the famous Tank pool (involving a waterslide that passes through their shark tank) make it a fun, affordable stay.
The Golden Nugget Hotel and Casino has recently gone under an expensive renovation including the construction of a new tower. The hotel is located qui...
This upscale downtown property is Glitter Gulch's most glamorous destination, standing out from its neighboring casinos. It exudes Victorian-era, European charm with its Italian marble exterior and lots of twinkling lights, plus indoor…
Great Place – This place is somewhere I would highly recommend staying. It is in old Vegas and has some great deals. They just redid a bunch of areas within the hotel, including some of the rooms. The pool area is amazing and they have a water slide…
Nice Hotel – My kids love the Golden Nugget's pool. It has a very unique pool slide. The rooms are nice and clean. The staff is friendly and I like it that it is in the old part of Las Vegas, not on the strip.
Wonderful buffet! – Golden Nugget has one of the best buffets in Vegas! Not alot of people venture downtown but this is the place to be! The atmosphere is so laid back and the drinks are awesome & cheap!
Nugget Buffett – I went to the all you can eat breakfst and it was delicious. Talk about a great selection. The fruit is fresh and they have so much to choose from.
Take the kids! – This hotel has the best pool I've ever seen. Kids love it. There is an aquarium in the middle of the pool with a clear tube slide that goes right through it. You have to experience it. The sun deck is enormous, and there's a nice hot…
The Nicest Downtown Hotel – This is one of the nicest hotels in downtown Las Vegas. The rooms are quite nice and there are several good restaurants to choose from. The casino is large and has every game option you would want.
Golden Casino – A nice downtown location helps keep me coming back to this twin location (other in Laughlin). Havne't stayed here yet but the casino is nice, and cannot use quarters anymore (booooo!)
Nice. – This is the place to stay in downtown Las Vegas. The lobby area is spacious and extensive. You can get away from the casino area (and the cigarette smoke). They have the most unique outdoor pool ever. My kids LOVED it. It has a…
