Clean and Fun, Great staff. I had my service with Victoria and it was a pleasure to have a real professional hairdresser. She is young but very smart and talented. My first time with paul mitchell color and it seems to be doing less harm than most color lines. Be back in a few weeks

Cindy LoveJuly 19, 2012 8:37 AM I went to Hypnotic Salon-Sunset Location-on April 14, 2012 in response to a promotion they were running for Hair Extensions. Though they advertise that you will recieve "individual" hair bonding, that is not the case. They put "Weft" hair extensions on. I was charged $1000.00 for the initial visit. They would only accept cash and I had to pay in advance. Rosa put the Weft hair extensions in and I was booked for a maintainence in 7 weeks. Upon returning for my maintainence, Rosa no longer worked there so I was given another stylist. I believe name was Adela? I requested that she touch up my top roots so therefore she said she needed to remove my extensions. Upon removal she tore out so much of my own hair that while she thought I was still in the bathroom she picked my natural hair up off the floor, two handfuls, and took my hair to the front desk to show the manager and other stylist. Apparently, the salon did not have the knowledge of how far out to reschedule me. The stylist then applied bleach to my roots instead of hair color with a light highlight. I was not asked to sign a waiver for her to do this procedure and when I stated to her that I did not want my roots bleached but colored she insisted that coloring was "old school". She tried to apply the toner and was not able to establish the proper color. She asked for help but neither of the girls were able to bring the proper tone out. Therefore, I was left with orange and red streaks in my hair. I had to go back the next week and have her do it all over again and even with help was still not able to obtain the proper blonde color. I was charged $310.00. I then had to turn to my old stylist who was here visiting from Indiana to correct the color. I come back 6 weeks later for a maintainence. The previous stylist had quit so I was assigned to Victoria. It took her 30 minutes to tighten my bead and 30 minutes to blow it out. She then trimmed my extensions, but upon trimming she trimmed off so much hair that now my extension are only

1 inch longer than my nautural hair. She also informed me that I had to come into the shop twice (2) a week now to have my hair blown out because I have extensions. I did not spend all this money for an inch of hair. When I said, my hair feels so short, she informed me that it was because she had tightened them and not because of the cut. Which is completely false. I was charged $200.00 for the 1 hour of work. I came back to the salon 2 days later and brought pictures of the last three months of my hair extension and showed them to the manager and Victoria stating "look at how long my hair" was before you cut it off. The manager scehduled for me to come in this Friday, July 20, 2012. Before going to the shop, I tweeted that because of them tearing my natural hair out, bleeaching my roots, then cutting my extensions to short, that I would not recommend their salon. The manager calls me at my job and informs me that because I was not going to recommend her salon she was not going to fix my hair. These girls at this Hypnotic Location are UNQUAILIFIED, INCOMPETENT and UNPROFESSIONAL in their dealings. They ruined my hair but will not take the reponsibility for it. It's not my word against theirs, I am living proof of their incompetent work since all this just transpired in the last 90 days and I'm still wearing whats left of the extensions.
