poor service. Dr Minott is no good..

I was refered to Dr. Minott by my HMO PP. Lets start with the office staff. They are slow and inefficient mostly would rather stand around and chit chat then get their work done. My first visit with appointment took an hour and 20 minutes to see the doctor. My second visit yielded worse we were left in the waiting room for 2 and a half hours. Third visit( wich we will get back to in more detail) we waited only an hour ,but they still hadnt uploaded the tests,files , or doctors notes in the computer from my previous visit 2 monts ago. Resulting in us waiting in the docotors room for an hour so we back to the dreaded 2 hour mark.

Now lets talk about Dr. Minott his bedside manor is is eghh. His attention to detail or work is attrocious. On each visit he told me things that on the next visit he claims he never said. Like on visit number 2 he said we needed to come back because he needed to look into some things and he was going to refer me to a specialist in fertility. When we came back he said I never said such things even pointed the blame on to me and my wife. Saying we misunderstood what he had said which was make an appointment next month. Even some things he said in his prognosis during my ultasound I remebered very specifically he later said he never said. Funny thing is my wife who speaks english as her second language even heard the same words only remembered them because she had never heard those words and asked later what they meant. so my last visit was a Schammm they only wanted to steal money from my insurance cmpany and get my co-payment. I recommend you tke your buisness elsewhere.

Great doctor, awful scheduling staff

These other reviews are not lies because I have had the same experience. I want to give the doctor a better rating but I am rating this about the back office scheduling staff, and phone scheduling staff.

I had been there once and needed to schedule a surgery and they said they would call me later but I decided from the way the front desk was I really did not want to go back there but when I didnt answer the first phone call the woman called me about 14 times in one day(literally calling once an hour or more than once an hour) and left maybe 2 messages and then went ahead and booked me my appointment without even speaking to me to which I cancelled later due to this unprofessionalism. I really liked the doctor and she is one of the few women urologists in town and so sadly I will be returning to this office but ONLY because the doctor was so sweet and helpful. I just dread having to deal with their scheduling back office girls.

This place IS NOT THE BUSINESS, the phone operators are rude, theyre slow, and dont care about you!

THIS PLACE UROLOGY SPECIALISTS OF NEVADA IS BY FAR THE WORST PLACE IVE DEALT WITH. THEYRE RUDE OVER THE PHONE, I EVEN SPOKE WITH THE SHEDULING SUPERVISOR, ROSE, BLACK OF COURSE, AND RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL, THEY TELL YOU A DIFFERENT STORY EACH TIME U CALL AND HAVE NO CARE IN THE WORLD ABOUT YOUR UROLOGY ISSUE, NOT QUICK TO SCHEDULE ANY APPT OR NOTHING, PLEASE DO NOT DEAL WITH OR GO TO THIS PLACE!!!!!!!

HORRIBLE ALL AROUND

HELLO I MUST SAY OF ALL THE PLACES THAT I HAVE BEEN TO IN LAS VEGAS THIS WAS BY FAR THE WORST. THE STAFF IS HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL..(I.E, UNABLE TO LOCATE PATIENT CHARTS, GIVING THE WRONG MEDICATION, SWEARING IN FRONT OF PATIENTS, HIRING FELONS, ) JUST TO NAME A FEW. I WAS ALSO SEXUALLY ASSULTED VERBALLY BY ONE OF THE DOCTORS THERE.

I HAD THE PLEASURE OF COMING IN CONTACT WITH ONE LADY THAT WAS LET GO PROBABLY BECAUSE GOD WAS LOOKING OVER HER BEST INTEREST. YEAH IT IS THAT BAD!!! IF YOU ARE REQUIRED TO GO HERE DUE TO INSURANCE REASONS YOU ARE BETTER OFF CHANGING CARRIERS THAN HAVING TO STEP INTO THAT AWFUL PLACE... ALSO IF YOU DONT WANT TO TAKE MY WORD FOR IT. BRING A BOOK, A BLANKET AND A PILLOW AND BE PREPARED FOR 3 HOUR WAITS AND A MILLION CANCELLED APPOINTMENTS...THANKS FOR YOUR TIME..
