Not Great Italian Food.
We started off with some very nice Appetizers then?????
Next course was the Caesar Salad which wasn't good.
Followed by some Main Courses that weren't very good.
Corkage was 20- per bottle which was a lot for such a weak Wine List!
Probably won't return.
This may just be the joint this restaurant-starved neighborhood has needed for some time..
In Short
With a pleasant, upscale decor, good menu, incredible wine prices, a whip-cracking owner on the premises, nice music and no pictures of Sinatra anywhere, this Italian eatery may just have the recipe for success. Pastas are more interesting than at most places (try the fazzoletti di vendura) and even the soups are given special attention by the kitchen. Soup options include the zuppa nuziale, an Italian wedding soup take-off on the Chinese egg-drop standard.
Dont Overlook the Little Guy. Where old time Vegans will remember Shakey's pizza, Fellini's now stands out as one of Vegas' best. Like the seafood ravioli (stuffed with crab and lobster) in a vodka-shrimp creme sauce (oh, god..), incredible spinach salad in a toasted parmesan cheese bowl, and sincerly friendly, efficient service at the bar and table, this resteraunt truly makes dinner an intimate and tasty event. Good wine list, great desserts and occasionally Tom Siatta pops in to play flugelhorn witht he piano player!
