Best cake place I have ever been to.. My Wife and I had been to a few other bakeries in town looking for the right wedding cake after meeting with the owner of Cake Designs there was no doubt they were the ones we wanted to do our cake. The Owner was nice, and helpful. She was very artistic with assisting the design of our cake. The Delivery guys were respectful and polite when they delivered. The Cake tasted great it was moist and turned out better than expected and they were much cheaper then the other places we looked at. Overall great place to buy your wedding or party cake.

Messed up wedding cake design.... My sister recently had her wedding in Las Vegas. The only thing she asked for was that the cake be tiered differently than the normal tiered cake, with the top tier being shorter in height than the other two tiers. She even sent them in a picture of what she wanted and they confirmed that it was the "new" thing to do.

Well, her wedding day came and to her surprise, what she received instead was a pretty generic looking cake. Just three normal tiers, all the same height, rather than the top tier being shorter. The rest of the cake design was kept simple as to show off the top tier, but since they did not do the top tier correctly, it looked pretty plain. They even threw in some buttercream flowers, even though she didn't want any flowers.

With the wedding so close to the reception, she had no chance to examine the cake before the location accepted on her behalf. Needless to say, she was pretty upset with how the cake turned out. It looked like a kid's birthday cake rather than a wedding day cake.

I gave it two stars, because of the pricing, but be careful as they may not give you what you ask for.

fantastic wedding cake. I ordered my wedding cake online for my Vegas wedding in May. We paid by credit card a couple of months before the wedding and mailed the wedding top to the bakery. I liked that Cake Designs has their designs on their website so you can pick your cake from pictures. I chose Alenna for it's scroll work and pearls. It is simple and elegant. They did a wonderful job. I chose 3 flavors. Yellow cake with Bavarian cream and fresh Strawberries, Chocolate with Chocolate mousse, and Lemon with Lemon Mousse. They let me mail my own cake topper to them. They have a less sweet and less greasy or buttery topping more like cool whip that still holds the designs. It looks beautiful and held up great. They worked with me when I changed from a two tier to a three tier, and I changed delivery times 3 times. They are a wonderful bakery and I will be ordering a anniversary cake from them. I hope they do shipping. I will be traveling to Vegas again but I don't want to wait that long. This is truly the best cake I have ever eaten. It didn't hurt that it was beautiful too. They did a fantastic job.
