Retro-outfitted servers deliver burgers, malts and sandwiches to your car at this '50s-style drive-in chain..
Founded in 1953 as a hamburger-and-root-beer stand, this nostalgic eatery is known for its intercom ordering system and roller-skating carhops. While servers rarely roller skate anymore, the famous made-to-order, all-beef burgers and thick malts are still menu favorites. Other signature items include Toaster sandwiches (made with thick Texas toast), extra-long chili and cheese hot dogs and hand-battered onion rings and tater tots. Desserts include chocolate, vanilla and strawberry shakes and fresh fruit slushes.
I LOVE Sonic!. I'm from Texas where Sonics practically outnumber McDonalds...however, Sonic quality ALWAYS out-does all other fast food places...maybe with the exception of What-a-Burger. Drinks are the best thing about it. Diet Cherry Limeades...well, they are A-MAZE-ING!!!! Chicken Strips basket with the country gravy is my fave to eat. I love Sonic. Brings me back to the good old days of stopping by after high school for a cold, fresh, Route 44 cherry limeade.
I LOVE SONIC!!!!. i think sonic is the cream of the crop for fast food hambergers, there sonic cheeseburger is the perfect balance of tomatos, lettuce, pickes, onions, and mayo, always consistant, always fresh, and they have the orange creamslush! i wish we had sonic in boston!!
Are You Kidding?. To say that Sonic offers one of the best burgers is an indictment of the other burger joints. Surely there are 100 better places in Vegas for hamburgers (or any kind of food for that matter).
