I wrote a review of this spa a month ago, and it is suddenly GONE! And so was my whole profile. I find this a little fishy. Obviously, I will not go into as much detail as it was sadly a waste of my time. But this was the spa we went to for wedding preparations and they did not do one thing right! I was the maid of honor, and it was my best friend getting married. She went in and spent $85 a week before to do trial make-up. Would you believe that (1) they used shimmery eye colors (a no-no for professional photography) and then did not even write down the colors they used?!?!?! How were they going to remember on the day of? She also did trial hair - lets just say - DON'T GET YOUR HAIR DONE HERE! I'll just say 2 words - FRENCH TWIST. The staff is rude, they keep the temperature extrememely low (bring a sweatshirt - or two) We also got our nails done here. My tech was clearly hungover and i left with polish around the nail bed. These are just a very few of the mistakes and blunders that led to a very expensive and lackluster experience. Oh, one other thing to mention - They thought I was the bride....how do you not know which is the bride???? How about the one with the cute rhinestone "bride" tank on????

Pros: They are inside the JW Marriott

Cons: the temperature and the attitudes of the staff are freezing, too pricey, etc...

I was recently in Las Vegas for a friends wedding. This spa was the worst spa experience any of us in the wedding party had ever had. The bride had went in and paid for a pre-wedding consult for make-up. First, they used shimmery colors - the no. 1 no-no for wedding or special event make-up. It looks awful in pictures. Then they did not even write down any of the info from the trial run. How unprofessional? Then on the weekend of the wedding, they messed up our nail and hair appointments several times. The manicure and pedicure were awful considering the amount of money it was. I had polish on the skin around the nail! Then on the day of, myself and the other bridesmaids went to get our hair done and the suggestion I got was a french twist! A french twist?!?!?!?! Didn't people stop doing those 20 years ago? For $100 they will curl your hair and put it half up. One bridesmaid expressed displeasure because it looked as if she had a football on her head. The response from the stylist (if thats what you want to call her) was immature and unprofessional. She stormed off refusing to fix it. She did finally come back and made it slightly better, but we ended up redoing her hair later. And we still paid for it. Oh and they automatically add gratuity, so you have no say in the amount. Isn't a tip determined on how good the service was? On top of all of this, they thought I was the bride (how do you not know which person is the bride?) and the salon & spa were so cold we had to buy sweatshirts! The boutique is tacky and not put together well. I could go on and on...

Pros: This place makes massage envy & fantastic sams look good.

Cons: cold - the air & the staff. awful service & over priced
