In Short
Once 15 miles from nowhere, this former working ranch is now surrounded by development on the northern edges of suburban Las Vegas. Remnants of the ranch still stand, including the well tower and many of the livestock buildings. Weekdays, it's easy to lose yourself in the mature landscape, walking or bicycling the paved and unpaved footpaths, fishing in one of four stocked lakes, or simply feeding the ducks and watching the clouds roll by. On busier weekends, carriage rides are offered around the premises.
