Mr. Rich and Groupon
by NadiaFriend at Citysearch
The only reason why I decided to eat here is groupon was running a special, $5 for 10 worth of food. I decided to order a "menu special" of a half a bucket of fingers and a med. Pizza. It was around $23. After my meal i presented my debit card and groupon to the waitress. She was very rude in explaining that she would have to rering the bill because specials did not apply. Once i had my new bill in hand i had not only wasted $5 for the groupon but she tacked on a little more than $5 to my bill. I can't complain about the food it was good, not great. Once I arrived home I looked up the details of the coupon I had given her. Nothing about specials was even mentioned. Villa pizza is way better and right down the street. They have always honored their coupons, and I never feel ripped off. I would give these guys 3 stars, but the feeling of being ripped off right after I ate left me nauseous. Bravo, you lost my business and only got 1 star!
Incredible service and very accommadating

We came in from out of town the night before our luncheon. We needed to find a place that could feed our entire soccer club and their families. It turned out that we only had 2 hours to get everyone fed and get back to our games. Mark Rich and his staff were amazing. They had everything ready for us and it went off without a hitch. The food was wonderful. The pizza was a hit with the kids and there were many compliments from the adults on the salad and pasta as well. I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone.

I went to Las Vegas to visit family and I have to say that this is the best pizza ever. sorry to hear that the other customers had bad experiences. but i now crave their pizza. it makes me want to go gack to Vegas to get more. I need to ask my brother in law if they sell it frozen so he can bring to arizona when he visits.

Michelle from Arizona
- Pros: best pizza me and my family has ever had,

Surprise Attitude and Poor Service
by Teacher32 at Citysearch
It’s not often that you can get service with an attitude and that’s exactly what I got last Saturday night at Mark Riches New York Pizza.
You see, it was Saturday night when we started talking about what to do for dinner and where to go. Many restaurants surfaced during the conversation, but were quickly dismissed. After a short time the discussion came back to Pizza and to one of the dismissed pizza’s; Mark Riches. For whatever reason, our experience with the restaurant has been mixed in areas of prompt service or food quality. Anyway, it was getting late, Marc Riches was right down the street so we decided to give it one more try.
When we arrived, they were not busy and we were able to be seated immediately. A few different people came up to the table quite quickly and offered to take our drink order. Soon thereafter, we were asked for our main course selections, which made me encouraged with the change in direction from the last time we were here!
Our order was all Pizza. An extra large pepperoni pizza for the kids and my wife, and a personal pan sausage and onion pizza for me. Since we ordered food from the same kitchen, our expectations were that the timing of the food order would not be a problem.
Approximately 15 to 20 minutes after our order was placed, things started to fall apart. First, as the waitress delivered our extra large pepperoni pizza, she commented that the small pizza would have to be re-made. There was an error made in the kitchen and the Sausage and onion pizza came out as a sausage and olive pizza. My initial reaction was, “are you kidding me? Here we go again….”
You may have guessed that in the time it takes to re-make a pizza, my wife and the kids totally consumed the extra large pizza. So the result of the error is that our family did not get to eat together. You see this is the most important point since, this is why we were careful in the beginning to order from the same kitchen.
When I approached the Manager/Owner of the restaurant, she dismissed the whole situation and stated that all I can do is re-make your pizza. She seemed put-out and frustrated, like I may have interrupted her evening. I personally stated that “is that all you are going to do?” You do realize that you ruined our evening out creating unwarranted frustration and anxiety. In her own cocky and cavalier way, she stated then I’ll take the mini pizza off the bill.
So 10 minutes later, when the pizza had finally arrived, I had enough of this place and this attitude. We had the recently delivered pizza put in a to-go box and we left.
The bill was just over $30 and we paid it to the penny. There was nothing extra left for a tip nor any compliments paid to the kitchen. Instead, a good customer, with many connections in Las Vegas
had experienced the surprise of their life; bad Service and an owner who could care less about the customer. We walked out of the restaurant leaving a Budweiser ¾ full on the table. In my opinion, that says it all!
- Pros: None
- Cons: The customer is NOT #1
worst pizza I've ever had
by RJhutch at Citysearch
The pizza here is the worst pizza I've ever had and theres some tough competition in that category, it was overpriced and tasted worse than a red baron pizza from the grocery store. My kids and their friends would not eat it. I tried one slice and it was total rubbish!!! I believe most of these reviews are written by the owners or friends, This is a true review.
