Better down the road. My wife and I thought that it was pretty good but after going to another place a few miles down the road on a Friday we were not impressed. we went to Onyx across from the golf course and found our calling!! the music was great along with the food!! Bobby Linguiri played Sinatra and Anthony made us a great martini paired with a ZD cab. it was fun and lively and we loved Zachery as our server!! We will be back. Sorry Bob but this place was better!

Waste of Money. Have been going here since 1993. This last meal was the worst that we have ever had. The waiter was surley and argumentative. He doesn't even know what the cooking degree are. Argued with us that medium well is still red in the middle when the menu says its not even pink. Sent steaks back three times and still they could not get it right. When we asked to speak with a manager, we were told that there was not one working tonight. When I asked who was in charge, I was told the chef, but that he had left an hour ago. Who cooked our steaks? The quality of this restaurant has been going down for a while now while they raise the prices. When finally contacting the owner the next day all were were offered was a gift certificate. I don't want to eat here again. There are many other good steak houses in Las Vegas that are far superior than Bob Taylor's. It too bad they have lost there ability to provide good food.

The Wild West Dinner. This hidden secret in Las Vegas, is still a great place for a homestyle country cooking/atmosphere Steaks and Seafood. everything you get is like being at Forest Gumps' house for dinner, its as good as it gets, that is if you like down to earth style dining. If your expectations are stratopheric, then, this is not the place for you. Other than that, and the dirt and gravel parking lot, you'll feel like you came here on a horse and buggy, rather than your Camry. Their scampi sauce is exceptional, Prime Rib was very good and fresh like they just roasted it, which they did. The ultimate fix for me was their bread, lightly burnt, it went well with everything, my salad, soup, and prime rib. Definitely a place to frequent.

average. you get what you pay for average steak for average cost ,I am almost positive the steaks are not aged beef .I guess most people in vegas do not know what good food is .Bobs is about as good as the outback but if you think circus circus is a great steak house you might like this place, i would rather spend the money and go eat a really good steak .

Mediocre Food. If you want to pay a lot of money for mediocre food this is the place to go! Be weary of ordering their BBQ chicken as you will indeed get the whole chicken including the bones. To make things worse if you split a check be careful to check your credit card to make sure you actually were charged the right amount. We were charged twice and the issue has still not been resolved. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

very disappointing. We have lived less then 5 miles from Bob Taylors for over 9 years. We were told it was agreat place to go and take your friends. We enjoyed many dinners there including special occasions. Our visiting friends raved about it. Then something happened, there was new ownership and everything went downhill. We had a number of bad experiences but kept going back hoping the " the old Bob Taylors" would reappear. Our latest experience will be the last time we go to this restrauant. We went to try the $1 dollar an ounce prime rib. Both of our pieces of meat were overly fatty and tasteless, but the real surprise was that unlike the regular menu the dinners were ala carte. My 16 ounce prime rib with side salad and a twice baked potato cost $25.90. The menu price for 16 ounce prime rib which includes salad and Potato is 25.95. I saved 5cents. NEVER AGAIN

Which decade are you living in?. I have noticed that most of the negative reviews have stated that the prices were too high. I am not sure what decade they were living in. A modest dinner for four cost us $125+. A comparable meal at Smith and Wollensky's on the strip was $500+. Meals in the restaurants of Las Vegas (especially the casinos) are no longer inexpensive. The days of the $2.95 steak and eggs and the $4.95 T-bone are gone FOREVER.

I have lived in Las Vegas since 1994 and there are very few restaurants that have been able to survive as log as Bob Taylor's. Even the fast food restaurants can't survive.

2nd Best Steakhouse in town. So our favorite steakhouse in town is Circus Circus, which we save for special occasions because of the price. About once a month, we venture to BT's steakhouse and have NEVER been disappointed.

The regular salads with italian dressing are SO good. They remind me of the original Kens Steakhouse restaurant salads from Framingham, Massachusetts.

The steak is great. We always get the fillet and have never had a problem. So yummy!

We have always had incredible service there. We've even got to a first name basis with our favorite server there - but everyone is super friendly and I don't know what the bad reviewers are talking about. They are all professional.
