Great Business Great People. We are not big spenders, but Summerlin Jewelers has always treated us as if we are. From watch batteries to trading in junk gold, they have always been pleased to do business with us. When trading in old gold, they have been the most generous compared to others I have checked with. They have been patient while I have looked around with my meager money and not at all upset or curt if I didn't buy anything. In a town where it is not easy to find a place that is honest and consistently a pleasure doing business with, I have felt that way with them from the beginning these last 9 years. Thank you. Oh, and Howsme, no one is perfect, we all make mistakes. Wouldn't you hate it if yours was announced everytime you made one? Summerlin Jewelers, keep up the great work and best wishes to your new place!!

Awful, awful, awful.. I took 3 rings in to be sized and welded together. Waited 1 month, yes 1 month. I went in to get my ring and they said sorry we have to take care of our customers first. What! Am I not a customer? Anyway, he did the welding and sizing wrong. So they took the ring back and it has been2 months now and still no ring back! I usually go to mJ Christensen and I wanted to save some money, bad mistake! I really think they are keeping it at this point!

Excellent Jewelers. I have been a customer of Summerlin Jewelers since the fall of 2001. I have purchased many pieces of jewelry, traded jewelry and sold jewelry for cash. I have also had rings sized and watch batteries replaced. I have always been 100% satisfied.

Last month my husband took two small gold coins to Red Rock Jewelers to sell for cash. He was offered $80.00 per coin. I took them to Larry and he offered $120.00 each. The trade-in amount was even greater.

No cash for my husband. I have a new ring. (Thanks Honey) and thank you Larry.

Great for watch repair. I took two watches in for battery replacement and they were done in a flash for a *very* good price. They also do other types of watch repair for a reasonable price.

Have a great selection of beautiful, reasonably-priced jewelry. It is nice to see a locally-owned business with that extensive of a collection.

Located in the Smith's shopping center at the corner of Rampart and Lake Mead.

Exellent and Knowledgeable Jeweler. Summerlin Jewelers has a much larger jewelry selection than every other store of its size that I've seen. Larry (the owner) and his staff also retain a much broader knowledge base in regards to the gemstones they sell. Most jewelers I've been to wouldn't know a sky blue topaz from an aquamarine, other than one costs more than the other. I had my soon-to-be-fiance's engagement ring made there. They have a wide variety of styles to choose from, and I found exactly what I was looking for. I wanted an alexandrite for her center stone and Larry selected the perfect one for me while the gem convention was in town. I knew it was coming to town, and no other jeweler I talked to even mentioned taking time out to hand select my alexandrite at the convention. The only problem I have with Summerlin Jewelers is the repair work. When my engagement ring was finished you could tell the prongs weren't quite in their intended shape. They were just a little "off". I also had a pair of earrings re-set there and again the prongs just weren't how they were originally. Hard to explain. I would suggest that if you are in need of repair on an expensive piece, go elsewhere. Repairs are relatively cheap there, so it is worth it if you have a less expensive item.

Most Honest People I've Found in LV !. I just read the review by "msprissy", and although I don't usually text,google,twitter or what ever else is out there, I was so put off by her review, that it fired me up enough to write this. I know we have a large substance abuse problem here in Las Vegas, so I'm wondering if she is one of those people?? I've been shopping at Summerlin Jewelers for about 9 years now. They are the nicest and most honest people I had ever had to do business with. I have had most of my jewelry repaired with them, I've had alterations done and have custom made pieces. I would say a good 70% of my jewelry have now passed through their hands, and probable about 60% of my things have been purchased from them now, as I always find them to be better priced when I am shopping for something. And now I don't even bother going anywhere else as I know their prices will beat others anyway. I've also had them special order me things I've seen in other stores and they always go out of their way to find what I want at the best possible price. Thev'e done work on my 3 carat diamond and about four that are one carat or more, aswell as so many smaller ones I couldn't even count. If something is difficult they tell me upfront. And I've had some great ideas to re-make a piece and they'll let me know if it can or cannot be done. They don't throw things together overnight because they have a huge clientele and a long line of repairs, I know this because all my friends go to them too and we are always getting things made bigger/ smaller etc.

The thought of someone thinking Summerlin Jewelers would jeopardize that kind of reputation for what sounds like a tiny diamond probably purchased in the mall, just ticks me off. She obviously knows nothing about jewelry or diamonds and is just upset that the place she got her cheap ring from ripped her off in the first place and now wants to take it out on someone else. She probably text her review while driving and putting on makeup!

DO NOT TAKE YOUR JEWLERY HERE!!!!. I TOOK MY WEDDING SET HERE TO HAVE THEM SAUDERED TOGETHER. Two diamonds in my engagement ring were switched/STOLEN and replaced with one VERY obvious cloudy diamond and one yellow diamond and extremely sloppy by the way . IT WAS VERY OBVIOUS THEY CUT THE PRONGES TO REPLACE THE DIAMONDS. Larry agreed and told me to take the ring back to MJ Christensens because the dimond were set in the ring incorrectly. (WHAT?) My ring was flawless when I brought it in. I should have taken back to MJ Christensen's. But I was trying to save a few dollars. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. THESE PEOPLE ARE THEIVES!!!!!!!!!!
