Nathans is for hot dogs baby not pizza.. I hail from the streets of brooklyn so when someone tells me they know good pizza in vegas, i tend to question there sanity. I was in the middle of a busy work day with my partner in crime who also hails from DOWNTOWN BROOKLYN and we decided to give mr. Northside Nathan a shot, boy did we get a shot alright. Immediately being turned off by the lingering scent of tomato paste and pine sol, against our better judgment we proceeded to order anyways. I ordered a large pizza and a couple sodas which came to a whopping 25 dollars. So as i sit and think to myself boy this pizza is going to be great if they have the nerve to charge nearly 20 dollars for a large pie. The pie arrived about thirty minutes after we ordered and as soon as it found the table i knew i had made a mistake. The pizza was a deep dish square pizza, a mere impostor to what you'd call a sicillian pizza. I was completely speechless when asked how everything was because the pizza was absolutely terrible, I should have taken the lady up on her offer of ranch dressing because maybe then that would have made this piece of toasted wonder bread with cheese and ketchup on it edible. This was far from tasty, but clearly lived on the same block as perfectly terrible. Take it from me because i took a shot, a shot to the heart and nathans to blame, nathan you give pizza A BAD NAME. So next time you feeling in the mood for some nathans, take a trip to coney island and have a hot dog because Nathans is for hot dogs not pizza. DONE

Great Pizza. This is some of the best pizza in town. I don't live that close to it but whenever I am in summerlin I try to stop by. Friendly people and the deep dish pizza is awesome. I wish they delivered to the strip.

Slice of Detroit. Reminiscent of Nikki's Pizza in Greektown, Northside Nathan's is a pleasure for anyone who's visiting or has recently moved to the city of forgotten pizza (aka Las Vegas) from the greater Detroit area. Maybe people from San Diego should just eat at California Pizza Kitchen (that's more their speed) and leave the REAL pizza critiquing to those from the Midwest.

Buddy's style. Their pizza is similar to Buddy's pizza, the best in the Detroit area. For Detroiters, the sports memorabilia and the Buddy's style pizza makes us feel at home.

After eating these awful California and Chicago style pizzas, it's nice to find the kind of pizza I loved growing up around Detroit.

It's ok not great. Not sure anyone in Las Vegas knows pizza. This place is ok but it's not the real deal. Closest thing I have come across didn't even make the list but for those who are interested check out Fasolini's off 95 at Decatur.

just like "BUDDY'S" pizza. Northside Nathans is just the best pizza around. The entire place has the look/touch of Detroit. Like the old landmark pizzeria "BUDDY"S", Northside Nathan's has got the exact deep dish pizzeria down to a science and their antipasta salad is even better. Great for sports games, or just having the family in for a casual nite out.
