I tried Gaudin Ford Service and I compared them to Ford Country Service in Las Vegas . I will choose Ford Country Service for my future repairs and pass on using Gaudin Ford.
Gaudin Ford $ervice has higher pricing than Ford Country Service.. For example, to inspect my seat belt for repair , Gaudin charged me $60 inspection fee. Ford Country charged me $ZERO for the same inspection.
I spent $2000 for my repair work at Gaudin, yet they wanted to charge me $60 to inspect my seat belt?
No thank you, Gaudin Ford Service.... I will not be coming back in the future when my cars need repair.
My service experience was good I never expect much coming to a dealership so good for me as a very high score keep up the good work guys!
This is an outstanding dealership I love the new location the staff seems very happy! they always treat me well.
The new location is great and the staff experience is really professional thanks Gaudin!
I have been a customer since 1975 and Ramiro Alvarez is the number one sales person. Very kind, beautiful person. He will help you from the bottom to the top. He is very honest, and will make sure you understand everything.
TWO MAJOR MESS UPS ON THEIR END:
1) Creating Damage to my car and refusing to pay for it!
When an improperly attached trailer swerved and hit my front passenger side, I went to Gaudin Ford Body Shop on E. Sahara for repairs. The managers Matt and Brian seemed nice enough while on the phone and keeping me updated on the progress of my car each week it was there, however, I would NOT TRUST this body shop to do any sort of work ever again! I picked up my car with a giant crack on my windshield, which they refused to fix even though it happened at their body shop. Pictures from my insurance adjuster showed that the crack did not happen as a result from my collision and since my car was no where else but in the hands of Gaudin Ford's body shop employees it was obviously their fault. They refused to fix it saying that the insurance could've added it to my claim and had the other party pay for it. Really? Why would they make someone else pay for damages that they didn't do? Gaudin Ford Body Shop is Shady!!!
The next major thing that happened is that when I went to put my things back into my trunk (while I was still on their lot) I noticed that the floor to my trunk was sunken in. Curious, I lifted it up to find that my spare tire and tools were GONE!! Yes, they STOLE from me. The damage to my car was nowhere near the rear and so they didn't even have a reason to be back there! When I inquired about the missing materials, they only responded that their body shop was not responsible for any lost or stolen items. Yes, there's a sign in their body shop lot and it is in the contract you sign, but that is shady business. It's ethically wrong. They're a dealership, why would they need to steal a spare and tools from me? Shouldn't they have enough or can't they purchase more? I'm a college student putting myself through school and it's wrong to steal something that I purchased with my car from a Ford dealership. I will never do business with them again and I hope enough people will get my message in time to avoid anything bad happening to them. DO NOT EVER GO TO THIS BODY SHOP!!! They are unjust and immoral.
I don’t think that going to small claims court is worth the hassle but I hope enough people will receive my message in time to avoid damages as a result of dealing with such an unethical company.
I went in because my airbag light was on. Cat (Service Writer) called to tell me a plug had been damaged and was not covered under warranty. I asked if it just needed to be plugged back and zip tied, she said that the whole plug had to be replaced and it would cost $115. I agreed. When I picked up my car I found that the plug had just been put back together and zip tied.
I called another Ford dealership and they said that would be covered under warranty, and said Gaudin most likely charged Ford for an hour of diagnostic and was "double dipping". After complaining the General Manager said he was embarrassed and refunded my money.
If you do decide to use Gaudin for warranty work make sure they don't lie and charge you extra.
Expensive, slow and uncaring service department – This applies to the service department only. I had a fuse blow while driving my daughter's car and couldn't find the fuse box. I stopped in the service department to ask if they could either change the fuse or if they were busy, show me where it was. They said they could take care of it. They replaced the fuse, charged me a staggering $125.00, took 90 minutes, and then after I was done, it took 15 minutes for them to bring my car up front. When I asked why it was taking so long to get the car, they just shrugged. No one seemed to care much. On the plus side, they have a great waiting room with a big screen TV.
Gaudin is Terrible and Dangerous – I had my car serviced at Gaudin and they wanted to send me out the door with only 2 lug nuts on my front wheel drive car. When I pointed this out to the service manager he told me they did not care about the hazard this created for me and others on the road. They refused to do anything until I walked on to the show room floor and started telling everyone not to buy cars there because their service department would get them killed. I cost them at least one sale that day and hope to cost them more. I am waiting to hear back from the regional service manager.
